For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I really liked Little Miss Sunshine but I think you might have to be in the right frame of mind. And some people are put off by the first bit. But, after that, it is very funny, in a silly sort of way.

I've never seen Being John Malkovich. Should I watch it?

DO I get points for buying 10 bananas?

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 18:30

what would the right frame of mind be?

I think everyone has done very well today. I think some people have done very well at eating f+v, some people have done very well at gardening, some people have done very well at falling over - I mean being brave about falling over - and some people have done very well at buying bananas

everyone have a sticker

I like both those films Franny - yes, I think you would like them, but can't be sure. 100x thinks little miss sunshine is a fake. It made me laugh a lot - and I love the little girl in it, shes great.

I can lend you the life aquatic. It's fab. Team Zissou wear these matching outfits and run everywhere and look great and there's portugese Bowie being sung to break up each chapter. Will send it to you if you fancy it.

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 18:31

oh I have had the frittata as mentioned which could have done with being less cabbagey tbh, and a chickpea, spinach, pepper, tomato and cucumber salad. And a satsuma. I am claiming 8 and a half portions so far.

to walk to the highest point which is actually a bit of a humock

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 18:32

oh Boco PLEASE yes. That would be brilliant. I'm sorry I don't have any other films I can lend unless people have a VHS machine.

OP posts:
RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 18:36

RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 18:36

which is rather better than chez moi at the mo

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 18:36

maybe beetroot?

OP posts:
RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 18:38

possibly yes

i think food is a bit dire overall

UnderRated · 18/03/2008 18:42

Yes, Eastern Europe probably isn't great place for getting your 10 a day. Unless you can count 10 glasses of apple juice (with Vodka in it)

I just tidied/ organised my kitchen cupboards and found rice flour. Why on earth do I have rice flour? And, what shall I do with it?

I knew you'd ask what the right frame of mind of Little Miss Sunshine is, but I don't think I can describe it. I think if you have no expectations, you might enjoy it. In a Chevy Chase, National Lampoons sort of way.

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 18:47

ok

I am often easily pleased
would that help do you think?

Lots of people LOVE Little Miss Sunshine Franny, and it is enjoyable but I thought it was a fake, but i don't think it makes it any less enjoyable. The Royal Tenenbaums - another fake.

OH MY. I have Puppy Training Class tonight. What will it be like do you think? I am fascinated. I hope it lives up to expectations - those expectations have absolutely NOTHING to do with training needless to say.

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 19:24

oh I liked the Royal Tenenthingies - that was where Mr O Wilson first came to my attention

I hope puppy training class has stickers

I liked Royal tenembaums too - I don't understand this fake thing. Do you mean it's supposed to be a little quirky thing that's really big budget mega film? I don't know. Who cares? Both are funny. [simple]
