For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

shining radiant lady?

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2008 21:30

LOL excellent cross post.

No really? Perhaps it was for measuring heads or something? Or toothache maybe? Or for the insane. Do you know the sort of thing I mean, with wire coming down over the jaw.

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2008 21:30

it will be too cold and snowy for any of these activities IMO

especially the kinky sex

Tatties · 20/03/2008 21:32

Lully have I asked you before about quinoa porridge? Normal porridge for me is sweet so I can't get my head around what it would be like with quinoa! How do you make it?

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2008 21:32

Right. I am going to tidy kitchen and read book. DH is out, which is always nice and I want to do something other than tidy kitchen before he comes back.

lullabyloo · 20/03/2008 21:33

ah

dh is sitting with his feet up ,covered with a pink fluffy blanket & wearing headphones & snoring loudly

someone find me someone to have kjnky sex with please

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2008 21:34

You have to get the anti tooth grinding mechanism off Avi first, then it all will fall into place Lully.

Good luck tomorrow MrsC.

Tatties · 20/03/2008 21:35

Enjoy the book 100. Dp is out too tonight

lullabyloo · 20/03/2008 21:35

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2008 21:36

Night Franny

FrayedKnot · 20/03/2008 21:45

You can get the sambucol stuff in both our healthfood shops so it must be fairly readily available...not much help on Good Friday though...are the shops open or closed tomorrow?

Interesting about the amalgam fillings Avi. Is the tooth grinding thing linked also?

TooTicky · 20/03/2008 22:11

Lots of love to you MrsC. I am still picturing you bare-footed and mad-haired out in the wind but you must be in a nice hot bath now, surely.

The wind is howling most unnervingly here.

TooTicky · 20/03/2008 22:16

FK, the chocolate - even before I stopped shopping in supermarkets I was always a bit about Free From type ranges.
The Swiss one with rice milk, is that Organica?
That particular bar is ratrher low on cocoa. Pleasant, but no real chopcolate hit. Unless you have something against darker chocolate, I would recommend others from the same company - there is a lovely one with orange zest, also a cranberry one, one with raisins and spices....

FrayedKnot · 20/03/2008 22:43

Yes, TooT, that's the one! I do like dark choc but worry about teh migraine issue....

I was just overcome by curiosity, re the freefrom, serves me right

BBBee · 20/03/2008 22:56

i think the thing 100 is talking about is a victorian thing to stop mad people biting thier tonuges off. Unless avi has gone mad and in a time machine it won't be that - at least I hope it isn't! OR her husband has got her a scolds bridal like in that minette walters book.

My sister and her boyfriend were vegans and I did lots of choclate based cooking - infact was a bit like the orgasim sex cake we had at the meet up. Good luck with it frayed.

MrsC - very much in my head which is where I want you to be. Lots of love to you.

pinkspottywellies · 20/03/2008 23:05

Lots of love MrsC. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Night all x

UnderRated · 20/03/2008 23:25

Orgasm sex cake?

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, MrsC.
