Lady jogs, you can do it, go, go, go.
Wooluff I always walk for 30 secs or so every so often as I can't drink and run at the same time.

bramblebooks · 24/04/2008 17:59

You can do it lady. You really can. xxx

LadyJogsAlot · 24/04/2008 19:06

LadyJogsAlot · 24/04/2008 21:28

Minum · 24/04/2008 21:29

Well done LJ - you've got your vavaboom back - thats fab

Now tomorrow I need to go out on my own, without the motivation of beating DH

ditavonteesed · 25/04/2008 08:30

Lady jogs YAH, your fab and fit and fast.
Minum, just pretend you are beating him. well done.

EffiePerine · 25/04/2008 08:39

Hooray, another 8+2 x 3 last night and managed it! Got a bit warm so slowed right down (even more) and seem to be OK this morning . It's either helping with the MS or it hasn't kicked in yet - get back to me in a few weeks when I may be hugging the sofa and refusing to move

Well done the rest of you - esp those who can manage to run fast . There are lots of runners in our local park and I'm a bit fed up of them zipping past me.

UnderRated · 26/04/2008 22:21

23 mins, non-stop?

I just managed week 3 (3 mins jog/ 3 mins walk) - I didn't think I'd manage it but I did. I feel really good now. If a little over-exerted

LadyJogsAlot · 27/04/2008 08:32

well done under and effie
thanks for your kind words everyone.

feeling really ill again today, don't think i'll be out tonight.

Furball · 27/04/2008 08:34

really furb?
hope you're getting some rest.

hercules1 · 27/04/2008 15:56

I fancy trying the pod thing on my mp3 player. I've been doing a very slow jog now for a couple of weeks and can manage 20 minutes very slow jog. What week do ya reckon I should start on with the pod cast thing?

LadyJogsAlot · 27/04/2008 17:32

herc, start on week six.
week 5 is

3 x 5 mins jog

2 x 8 mins jog

1 x 20 mins jog

so wk 6 is prolly a good place to start for you.

(i'm starting wk 6 tomrw hopefully if i'm feeling better )

EffiePerine · 27/04/2008 17:35

Hercules, I'm following the Runner's World schedule as not keen on running with the iPod. Next week is 12 mins x 2 - eek! But of a jump from 8

hercules1 · 27/04/2008 17:38

I've tried to download it and managed to eventually but I cannot play it on my mp3 player but can via the pc if that makes sense.

LadyJogsAlot · 27/04/2008 17:55

there are two versions. one is for ipod, one is mp3...

so it says:

EffiePerine · 28/04/2008 09:10

Tomorrow's run will be 12 mins x 2. Eek!

Wheelybug · 28/04/2008 12:43

Sorry to hear some people aren't feeling well. I did 5.5K on saturday - had hoped to do more but it was too hot (my excuse earlier that week was the rain !!) and I didn't take any water to drink. Hoped to get out yesterday but had a migraine.

Won't now get out until Wednesday again and RFL is looming...aaaatrrrghh.

Good luck with your 12x2 Effie !

ditavonteesed · 28/04/2008 18:06

I am slacking big style, only getting out once a week, going for 5k again on Weds, I should really go out tonight but I can't be arsed.

Theresa · 28/04/2008 19:09

lol Dita! I work on Mondays and Tuesdays and have a great opportunity to run home on Mondays, it's 6 1/2 miles. I genuinely didnt feel too good at work this mornig so decided to get a lift instead. By home time I felt fine, but my mind was already in the car.... I'm looking out of the window now at the sunshine and annoyed with myself! Cant run home on tuesdays as kids are at clubs but I have a free hour between 6 & 7 tomorrow night so must go out then!!
