For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Dave is a great name for a boat.

I have given JJ his first bone just now - from our lunch - I stripped it down and everything. The house has gone all quiet. It might keep him busy for a week you know.

Also I met a lovely lady who wears one of those sherpa hats and she takes dogs into her home, she only lives up the road. She was very cool - like a dog-walker from a movie.

I think the 'and everything' is just running out of steam. I say 'and stuff' as well.

Piano in and room slowly being put back. Looks quite nice now. Will be a useful shelf for books that have been stacked in corners. I really need another room or two.

Got up at 3 this morning to watch Formula 1 [loses all lentilly points ever accumulated] Had an apple for breakfast, peanut butter (nuts do count ), salad at lunchtime, no dinner yet. Will probably have a pear. No exercise.

dp cooked some veg, hallelujah because in my laziness I was getting scurvy. Reader, I ate them. Cabbage, red cabbage, brocolli, mushrooms. More grapes. More orange juice. Generally though I have been CRAP this week and need to pull my socks up. But I can't reach my feet.
