For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

DD2 has a small friend here to play and she just stood at the top of the stairs shouting 'Squeezy-Mummy we need you!'. The girls' little group of friends all call me squeezy mummy because dd2 gets called E*-Squeeze, so i'm Squeeze's mum. It sounds funny, and not particularly flattering. I quite like it though.

Hello! I am off to a canal near stratford for a couple of days - dh just blithley announced after I have been at work all day and then a 2 mile bike ride ''oh when you've cooked tea, can you pack for 2 nights...''

I have no idea where we are going or what to expect when we get there....

Zippi, that castle place looks beautiful. And if anyone has any ideas on how to decide whatto do with the rest of one's life, please feel free to fill me in too!

TigerFeet · 12/02/2008 18:11

A very un 10/10 day for me - just fruity porridge and a white bread roll all day. I need to go shopping. Perhaps the activity will help me get my appetite back

FrayedKnot · 12/02/2008 18:11

Is this a romantic Valentine's break, FMF

I hate things being sprung on me. I am Control Freakery Central when it comes to things like that.

DH has just come home early on the wrong bloody day, I sent him an e-mail at work today asking him to come home early tomorrow and he has not bothered to read it properly and as I am going out tonight, I am not going to do what we are supposed to be doing tomorrow today.

And the stupidest thing is I knew he wouldn;t read the e-mail properly. I should have rung him. Bollocks

TigerFeet · 12/02/2008 18:12

DD wants to know who I am talking to.

DH said "Mummy is talking to her weird internet friends"

DD is fascinated by the smilies

They are eating choc chip cookies

Lovely title

lol @ squeezy mummy. I like it.

I've just been offered a weekend in Ohio with a group of complete strangers. Am not sure if I should go.

Why do men do that? DS's dad took him to the babysitter's house on the wrong day - I was waiting for him at home and the poor babysitter called me to say "I though your DS was coming tomorrow but he's just been dropped off. What shall I do with him?" and all because I sent an email saying please drop DS off at the babysitter's tomorrow Grrr

Did you explain that we are not weird, Tigerfeet?

DS licked me this morning. When I said Yuk, he moved and licked the bookcase instead. It's one of those days.

I liked all the titles but yours made me laugh the most Boco

Hello.

OverRated · 12/02/2008 19:11

Hiphop dancing

Boco · 12/02/2008 19:33

It's what we do here, in rural Suffolk, to keep warm and pass the time. It's traditional hip hop dancing.

MrsCarrot · 12/02/2008 19:38

Waahooooo - have just run for ten mins, short walk then twenty four mins non stop running with ds1. Am extremely pleased with self. I feel great.
