For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

LOl my breakfast sounds very lentilly..well as much as it could be so without actual lentils in it

No I hold real lentil weavers in great respect and awe, but I seriously am not one, not properly

Am culturally barren!

BTW if you haven;t met boco she looks a lot like bonnie tyler in that video - but with more eye make up and bigger hair.

TooTicky · 11/02/2008 22:09

Anybody still here?

I liked Pink's suggestion. I seem to have missed the others.

Made fabulous dinner - sort of biryani-type thing and tomato/chickpea/cumin thing.
I love the lingering smell of basmati.

OverRated · 11/02/2008 22:12

Sounds delicious, Toot.

I'm trying to get an allotment for the spring but no-one is responding to my emails

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 22:13

i had a pile of cauliflour with chicken in yogurt and curry paste a whole red pepper and a whole chilli

a banana a kiwi an mandarin

i don't think i will be able to go to expensive posh afternoon tea because i am probably going away for the weekend..to wales

TooTicky · 11/02/2008 22:14

Hope you get one! Can you speak to somebody in person? Go and bang on the counter, as my grandmother says

TooTicky · 11/02/2008 22:15

With respect Zippi, that sounds most odd.

Wales, eh? Whereabouts?

OverRated · 11/02/2008 22:15

Me too, I vote for PSW (again)

OverRated · 11/02/2008 22:18

OOooo, zippi - another weekend away?

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 22:24

laugharne

my food sounds odd?

or going away?

i had an allotment once upon a time

i was definitely a lentil weaver in one incarnation

TooTicky · 11/02/2008 22:26

I haven't heard of Laugharne.

It was your cauli/chicken/yoghurt thing. But then, I am vegan... and I think I mentally combined them raw, which wasn't wise I feel.

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 22:31

TooTicky · 11/02/2008 22:32

I remember listening to Under Milk Wood on record as a child.

I lived in Bristol for many years. Anything you need to know...?

OverRated · 11/02/2008 22:33

Oh, difficult decisions, zippi. Wales should be fun though.

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 22:34

oh i don't know how do you decide what you want to do with your life

TooTicky · 11/02/2008 22:37
