For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I am worn out from titles too, Boco. We have thrown scores on the board, people, now you have to choose.

Why would people want to deny lentillyness? I dunno. Maybe because its a slightly derogatory term a bit like earth mother. Didn't 100 argue for a very long thread on why earth mother was not a nice name. Never a nice name?

Boco - according to Franny the guidelines, you are lentilly indeed. You do breastfeeding and you felt. You may be very uncharitable with your attitude towards your fellow felters but by god, you attend a class. Mwah ha ha ha ha.

FrayedKnot · 11/02/2008 21:07

Turn Around Stir Fries was very funny...but Tender Peas was kind of simpler for Valentines I thought

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 21:07

haven't seen them all but love lettuce straight from your heart sounds god

MrsCarrot · 11/02/2008 21:09
FrannyandZooey · 11/02/2008 21:11

god perhaps I am not lentilly at all? I have never felted. Not once.

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 21:12

i don't mind being lentilly if i was

MrsCarrot · 11/02/2008 21:12

Tatties - it was 'if thou wilt, be gone my love, I'll no longer be a cabbage-head.'

I do, howvere, quite like love lettuce.

MrsCarrot · 11/02/2008 21:13

franny - you profess to stroke the felted ball each morning

lionheart · 11/02/2008 21:15

Hello, I am not lentilly.

Boco · 11/02/2008 21:16

I can embrace the little lentil within, I just don't feel fully qualified to weave with it.

I only felt for the free creche.

I don't bf anymore - but did do it for bloody ages, that's true. I have lentil leanings. I'm a lentil weaver compared to most people I know in real life, but compared to some of you I don't cut the mustard in the lentil world.

I've never even tried quinoa for example. And I never know what mrsC is talking about when she starts waning and proving and roosting with her herb basting sessions.

BBBee · 11/02/2008 21:16

love lettuce

yes - i like that one a lot and is very topical and my friend has a dog called elvis - that dog I love.

Tatties · 11/02/2008 21:16

That is good too!

I think it is between peas and lettuce though

Boco · 11/02/2008 21:19

Both peas and lettuce are Elvis. Elvis is a good name Bee, I love my friend called Elvis too. He's coming to stay and i'm excited.

I personally still like stir fries, but it doesn't have to have cunting in it.

MrsCarrot · 11/02/2008 21:19

herb basting sessions?

do you mean when I suggested you buy some cider vinegar and take vit c, Boco?

Tatties · 11/02/2008 21:19

Wasn't there a lentil-credential thread once?

FrannyandZooey · 11/02/2008 21:20

if stir fries didn't have cunting in it, and had an alternative second line, then we should have it

BBBee · 11/02/2008 21:21

I don't get the stir fry one

I am hungry - I am eating dry cereal and not doing some work and mnetting.

I am crap at breakfast - what do you have for breakfast that doesn't take an hour to make?

FrayedKnot · 11/02/2008 21:25

BBBee I have home made muesli which is basically a bag of jumbo oats, a bag of mixed seeds, and some dried fruit, chucked together in a big plastic box, and dipped into each morning, with some soya milk on. I do eat it straight away although it is slightly nicer if you have time to leave it for a minute or two.

I get up at 7 and leave the house with DS at 7.50 so it has to be quick.

Tatties · 11/02/2008 21:27

Dp is corrupting me with crisps and popcorn

MrsCarrot · 11/02/2008 21:30

I just ate two florentines. They were very chewy.

BBBee - toast with skippy. Fruit and granola and yoghurt is very quick. A biscuit is even quicker.

FrayedKnot · 11/02/2008 21:33

Turn around stir fries
Every now and then I feel a part
Of a mango

Actually my fave bit of that song is

"We're living in a powder keg
And giving off sparks"

BBBee it was number 1 for about a squillion weeks, did you not used to watch TOTP with religious fervour?

Probably not

ZippiBabes · 11/02/2008 21:34

go on what song is it then?

OverRated · 11/02/2008 21:36

We just made Franny's museli (or a version of) and it is yummy. DS thought it was fab so we shall definitley be making more when this batch runs out. Otherwise we have toast, porridge etc unless we have guests in which case I might make something more elaborate.

I'm on 8 F&V so far and it's only 3:30 so will definitley make it 10

I hope I didn't upset anyone with my talk of lentilweaving I see it as a good thing and didn't mean to offend

OverRated · 11/02/2008 21:37

I don't understand the song either.

FrannyandZooey · 11/02/2008 21:44

"every now and then I feel a part / of a mango"

oh dear this is making me shake with laughter

we must have this title very soon
