Minkmamma, that's SO nice of you thanks. I'll pay you for the oils of course. I don't think I ever emailed you before. I think there's a poster somewhere here with the nickname blue but that's not me, it would be if they hadn't got there first. My real surname is Blue, Anglicised version of German-Jewish Blumenfeld (blooming field), changed during WW2.

I think 4 weeks is too long as well. Dp and I have just been talking about it. When dd was 1 she was diagnosed as being asthmatic and given an inhaler. She's had 2 asthma attacks in the past, both associated with contact with MIL's very massive, slobbery, hairy dogs. But since November 03 she's been fine.

I've been hormonal too cc, that's mostly the reason for my horrible behaviour and weepiness all day today. I was even snivveling over one of dd's bedtime stories tonight ...

4 again today grrrrr. I told DH and he does not even care, I KNOW he isn't giving up anytime soon. Stupid bloody men. Bought me some fags as well today. Why do I bother?

it's so hard when people don't support you isn't it? i mean, it's hard enough as it is and then someone goes and gets you a packet...arrgghhh!

do this: if you get a packet pour water/oil on it and throw it in the bin immediately! it's much harder to go out and get a packet than have one lurking around the house with what you think is your name on it!

don't worry about the few you've had, the point is that you are quitting and your mind is in the right place. keep up with the trying...we've all had our moments here.

Yeah, drowning fags is the only way, im afraid to say when I am feeling weak I try to stay out of dps way and my mums too as you cant really hold a conversation when all you can focus on is the smoke in thier hands...your fighting a demon and its not easy when its in your face all the time.
I drown any fags I find when im alone, just in case the just one monster bites me.

Urg ... had another VERY restless night with dd coughing for hours on and off. I've given her an inhaler before her nap today and am going to see if it helps or not. It won't do any harm anyway.

So what you all up to today? I took dd to the shops and park this morning, she's asleep now and hopefully so will I be in a minute or two and then we're going to visit a playmate for a couple of hours this afternoon all being well. Dp's working from home so I don't feel like quite such a weekend widow as I do normally!

i've got most of the pressies, the 'important' ones anyway. we're putting up the tree today and then i'll be able to wrap all the presents and clear the place up a bit! there are loads of plastic bags stuffed with people's gifts all over hte place!!

I never used to smoke DHs fags, but he changed brand recently and I like them, so now the fags around the house are the ones I would buy!
I binned the ones he bought me though

I see things getting heated on certain threads and almost feel as if i should not read in case someone decides to attack me!! I've only been on mnet for not even a year i think, and since the boys are still so young, i don't have much time to scan threads other than the ones i'm on so i miss a fair bit.

Well, I can't really go into it to be honest. Basically I made a jokey comment on a thread months before and she, who was in fact regularly posting on here for ages before, came across it and threatened me in a rather insane way! The thread was somewhat incredible and it wasn't completely sure it was her but the MN team assured me it was, i made a formal apology and it all disappeared. Or at least I hope so, it was really stressful at the time.

I think I've been posting here for about 12 months maybe? How about everyone else?

About me I am married with one DD who is one and rather lovely. I work as a HCA at a hospital (full time) and DH also works full time. We live away from our families as well which is nice sometimes, but stressful other times! I'm not very exciting really.
