For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I will bring it for you tomorrow, Franny.

I am having the Maya gold chocolate that Tatties sent me for pudding. It is delicious. Lo has stolen a tiny bit. He likes it too. Well, it's better than Milky bar, eh?

MrsCarrot · 17/11/2007 19:34

I have wrapped one I am afraid to say. It is entirely unheard of for me but I am determined not to be wrapping until 2am as usual on Christmas eve.

zippitippitoes · 17/11/2007 19:36

ahem i wouldn't have done anything except i bought a baby a xmas pop up book some snowman pjs and some fruit and veg today and accepted an offer from exh to pay for christmas treats for us all...

MrsCarrot · 17/11/2007 19:36

However I expect by Christmas eve I will have got no further with it. Someone on my postnatal group has bought and wrapped everything. Now that is organised.

I fancy a short Christmas shopping break to the festive markets in Lille or Cologne but I don't suppose it will happen.

FrayedKnot · 17/11/2007 19:36

Christmassy things? I have started present shopping...and I'm not doing food, for the 38th year running...

Actually one day I hope I will be doing food. I want people to come here but they can;t, it makes no sense logistically.

zippitippitoes · 17/11/2007 19:38

zippitippitoes · 17/11/2007 19:48
