For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

What are the candidates for thread titles? Do we have any? We have a reputation to maintain, now.

MrsCarrot · 17/11/2007 09:45

She will be better in London. All the smog will suppress the cough till you get back. Everyone seems to have something which could potentially stop them from coming like a disclaimer.

I Have A Sore Left Breast. There.

New titles? Oh lord. Well, I'm not very good at them, someone else think.

Once I had a love, and it was a gas. Soon turned out, a love of bread can't last.

MrsCarrot · 17/11/2007 10:06

Donn't let me eat bread at lunch. Oh no. Why am I still here? 100 says I am good at popping in and I am not. I am milling about. I will go and find the library books.

fullmoonfiend · 17/11/2007 10:46

oh! oh! London cauli-ing!!

I am not nervous.
I am resigned...to the fact that no-one else will turn up (except Tatties who is already in london) and we will have a nice lunch with all your cake. And we may borrow vegtables from the kitchen and surround ourselves with them, giving them all your names. And talk to them...

I am not nervous. Just unhinged!!

I will help you all entetain your children and I will inevitably end up missing my own

frothykindofadrink · 17/11/2007 10:48

hello everybody

ll and boco so sorry about lurgies

I have caught up with thread - whenever I post it is like tumbleweed central and then you all come out when I have gone

I avoided Children in Need last night - I used to work as a fundraiser for a special school and god, did C in N p*ss me off, worst place to apply for in the world

this morning I am looking after a child since dd2 is too ill to go into town with dh and dd1

as if I wasn't ill already she has kept me up all night with her delirious ramblings and now she is all perky and is running in and out of my bedroom, throwing socks at me

lullabyloo · 17/11/2007 10:49

I so want to come

Boco · 17/11/2007 10:50

My dd is all perky and lively too, which is why i'm still coming - she's just coughing a lot. But not hot or ill, just noisy. It'll be fine.

frothykindofadrink · 17/11/2007 10:52

oh lullaby stay here with us

we are going to talk about cheesestrings according to Franny

fullmoonfiend · 17/11/2007 10:53

TooTicky · 17/11/2007 10:57

Oh LL, I want you to come!
