For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

My paranoia is crowded tube platforms and dcs getting jostled. I used to be utterly blase about London.
Can't you travel light and do without the buggy? At least you don't have to fold it for escalators. I'm glad I don't need to take one.

PSW, can dd sleep in the back carrier?

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:22

maybe it's never mind the buzzcoks now, just packed him off to bed.

Frayedknot - I read that as you would be bringing your boobs along

TooTicky · 16/11/2007 22:22

MrsC, am emailing...

pinkspottywellies · 16/11/2007 22:26

Dunno if she'll sleep in it TooT. I think probably but we might have to walk really far tomorrow and see if we can get her to doze off!

Boco · 16/11/2007 22:28

I'm not sure dd2 without a buggy would be ok though, and she'd have to walk miles and she's only 2. I'd have to carry her and the bag. My buggy is so old that 2 of the wheels have fallen off and dp has 'fixed' it, but it keeps happening. I just know it'll happen on an escalator and then i'll have to do dragging of buggy rather than pushing.

Toot i can't imagine what you look like at all.

zippitippitoes · 16/11/2007 22:28

ha my paranoia is meeting more than onw person..and quite a few other things

TooTicky · 16/11/2007 22:28

MrsC, have emailed

zippitippitoes · 16/11/2007 22:29

TooTicky · 16/11/2007 22:29

Boco, my dd2 travels in an Ergo. She is 2. It is very good.

FrayedKnot · 16/11/2007 22:31

I will bring my boobs, MrsC, if it's important to you

pinkspottywellies · 16/11/2007 22:32

What's an ergo?

TooTicky · 16/11/2007 22:32

By the time the bath water is hot enough I will be too tired. Perhaps I should go to bed.

Boco · 16/11/2007 22:32

What's an Ergo?

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:32

Sorry, I went off and read the Microsite thread. it is v. long and Important.

TooT, I can't picture you v. well. Not sure.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:32

Please do!

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:33

I meant, please do bring your boobs, Frayedknot...

I just google ergo, looks like a mega slng

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:34

Will there be poetry at your meet up do you think?

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:34

googled and sling

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:35

Poetry? I hope not. There will be cake instead.

TooTicky · 16/11/2007 22:35

Ergo

zippitippitoes · 16/11/2007 22:36

it will be the kind of cake u eat insted of food won'tit

FrayedKnot · 16/11/2007 22:36

I'm not bringing the buggy if we are going to travel by Tube, Boco. DS is older though and will have to walk. If you see a woman in a sou'wester staggering down a tube tunnel under the weight of a towering 3 year old you will know who it is.

Now I am off to bed, bfobs, boobs and all.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:38

Zippi - eh?

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:38

Night, Frayedknot

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:41

I know exactly what she meant MrsC. I have come across just that sort of cake lots of times.

How are you anyway? Did you see me earlier praising you for your ability to limit your MN time? I've missed you.
