For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I know that there will be a moment when we arrive at the place and I will be scared to go in.

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:45

No you won't TooT. Because you will know that everybody is feeling exactly the same way, and therefore if you are all feeling it then it will be fine.

Also you will have dcs with you and you can hide behind them and pretend to fiddle with their coats a lot and things.

zippitippitoes · 16/11/2007 22:45

i'm already scared to go in

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:46

Right.

Zip and TooT arrange to meet outside and to go in together.

TooT if Zip turns up with three men with guns in their underpants, you are allowed to skip in on your own. Zip won't mind.

Yes, I did read that, 100x, and I was surprised. I didn't think I'd done very well at staying off at all! I am fine, thank you, if a little permatired. Lo waking up a lot for feeding atm.

pinkspottywellies · 16/11/2007 22:48

oh god I just had a wave of nausea at the thought of actually walking in and meeting everyone. Please stop talking about it [queasy]

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:49

Oh I thought you'd done marvellously well.

I am going to emulate you.

OP posts:
TooTicky · 16/11/2007 22:49

Er...okay.
I'm off to bed - dd2 is up and shouting.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:49

Lol at all this nervousness.

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:50

Oh FGS. You're all going to have the meet-up on the pavement at this rate because nobody will walk in.

Apart from Boco, who will be in there arranging things on the table so nobody feels left out.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:51

I guess I am on a lot less than I was. Are you having a lull, 100x?

zippitippitoes · 16/11/2007 22:52

i think i can do the lfmao to that

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:52

A lull? Isn't that a nice word.

In life do you mean? Mood? Work?

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:52

I will be in there with Boco trying to finish 30 conversations

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:53

life, work, mnet, anything really, that hmmm sort of moment where you contemplate

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:55

Oh no not quite, but one might be around the corner. Prospective Lull.

No. I just have time on my hands which I haven't for ages, and I seem to have spent most of the last week on here. I'm not having a leaving moment, but I just noticed how you popped up from time to time, and how I stay and yabber yabber and play with the beard. I thought you'd got it about right.

lionheart · 16/11/2007 22:56

I am going to bed.

"But screw your courage to the sticking-place, and we'll not fail."

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 22:58

And if that fails, screw it to the pavement and hang around waiting for TooT and Zippi so you can cross the threshold holding hands.

It's going to be great people. You'll have a ball.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 22:59

It does get a bit like that if you come on too much I think. I get squinty and kind of grip the laptop a little too hard and have to take a turn about the garden before bed.

You could give yourself structure with the spare time. Like one hour over lunch or something. As a rest of course, from painting or whatever you need colour charts for.

codslovechild · 16/11/2007 23:01

today i ate quiche

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 23:01

I thought I might decorate the yurt while you were all out.

Yes, structure is good. I agree.

Have you packed?

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 23:02

Oh. There's a small quiche eating person popped in.

I must go to bed.

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 23:04

Packed? No, I am only going for lunch and maybe a brief foray to a gallery. We're not staying over.

Quiche? Was it filthy? Quiche that hasn't been blind baked is always filthy.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 23:05

I must go to bed too, after a little fresh air.

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 23:06

Yes, I might take one of your literary walks around the garden too. Night. Have fun.
