For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

Oh my good god what is with the pornographic title? Who did this? You can't do that with fruit!? How many portions do you do that with?

Toot, like I said , I realise that no offence was intendet and really I should not be taking any...and I suppose it's not really that I take offense as such, just that the title feels uncomfortable to me, iykwim!

FrayedKnot · 13/10/2007 21:24

Here's one I made would love to have made and be eating right now

3 I'm sorry you were upset, and it wasn;t silly, but quite understandable - here, have a piece of my cake

I liked the title, I thought it was filthy suggestive.

Avi, what gorgeous pics....I loved the look of the Hugabub, but bought the cheap version, teh moby wrap, which, quality wise was similar, but of course was much plainer and less pretty

well i have a feeling that my evening has not been very f and v so far

i bought full metal jacket in tesco for 3.00 and have just watched it in a rare excursion to the living room on the wicked large plasma with full surround sound

i also had a chocolate aero mousse and i am thinking of having another

as the title is so disapproved of i thought it was ok to make things worse

lol...you are harmless....I have had a couple of Baumstamm Marzipan Bars from Lidls...that Marzipan chocolate bar with lots of pralinestuff/noisette/nougat inside...

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 21:47

TooT we are BAD NAUGHTY TEASING LADIES

Avi the new photo is beautiful

I am going away for 2 days tomorrow, how can I trust you all with this X rated interesting title and all this aero mousse and stuff?

3andnogore · 13/10/2007 21:53

lol Franny...no worries, am at work for most of te day tomorrow and on Monday I should catch up on my studies and on Tuesday I am busy pretty much all day!

Oh, and what can I do with ys...we have started, again, with pottytraining as he showed more of an intrest and was more inclined to sit on the potty to try for a pee, and we do use an incentive chart aswell as issuing stickers of his choice to stick onto himself...but he has started, yet again, completely ignoring any signs of needing the potty aswell as completely objecting to go on the potty when asked...he was 3 in August, surely he should be bloody ready by now...the other 2 were late and whilst ms has poopy issues due to longterm constipation, even he wasn't this persistent in staying in daytime nappies, sigh!

Boco · 13/10/2007 22:46

Oh Toot sorry - i was only teasing, and then not been able to get back onto mn again as it's gone all slow and clunky. I think it's a funny title and was just yanking your aubergine.

Anyones dds had scarlet fever?
I think dd1 may have it since chatting with foxysox who identified the rash - and i did the bad googling thing - and am convinced.

She has very very sore throat, problems swallowing and eating - tonsils touching the uvula (is that right? - or is that something reproductive?) Rash all over her body - pin pricks, red, rough to the touch kind of sand papery. Fever, tired, incredibly grumpy.

Latest symptom is that she's saying it hurts when she wees.

Should i take her to out of hours doctor tomorrow or wait until Monday. don't tell me to do that trusting instinct thing, it never works and i sway wildly. DD1 not been to the doctors for 2 years.

What do you think?

TooTicky · 13/10/2007 23:26

Oh Boco, poor dd1! I am the wrong person to ask as I will just recommend homoeopaths and/or see if it just runs its course. Most illnesses do but it makes people uneasy. Good luck and I hope she feels better soon!

Franny, you cannot go and that is that. We need you.
