For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

I know...been working a few shifts where I could, trying to fill in an application form (for a job that would be the most perfect one ever, lol, as a OT assistent, 10h a week worked over 2 days and only temporary till July , in a department that works with the elderly....would give me great experience in the fiels and would look good on University application, I think),and trying to fill in the UCAS form...which is an utter pain in the rear, and well, then there are those family commitments...and you lot are always so busy, and I feel horid when I can only flit in and out without really giving my support and comments to people...and anyway...I think I need to take a big breath...and so will you if you read this far

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 21:01

The filth must be a reflection of your mind. It's about hiding fruit in a rock!

Beenleigh · 13/10/2007 21:05

aww Franny, you mkae me feel well loved

Toot..it's not so much the filthy mind with me...it's more a personal issue which isn't really connected to the title itself or how it would be interpreted....but...well, tis my personal chip on the shoulder that makes me think... argh!!!... (and I know it's silly, stupid and all that and certainly know there is no way that the title was meant to offend me or anyone else), it's due to the fact that I was born with a cleft lip and palate....and I do really know the title is not in anyway interpretable into offence...but for me personally there is a sour aftertaste, iykwim...

[feeling stupid emoticon]

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 21:08
