For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

Yes, meanwhile I gave UP drinking and smoking and look like a twisty and wrinkly old bat

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:23

F&Z, stop trawling - why, in your hat photo, your chin looked no older than 27!!

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:24

I need to take the pix down soon >

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 20:27

The one of the sea is kind of hallucinogenic, isn't it? Fab pictures

I was not trawling that time, just moaning. I am the wrinkliest 36 year old I know. Ah well, I have a beautifully smooth soul

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:29

I took one minutes later aftr ds had moved and there is just a fizz of foamy water. It looks for all the word as though ds had fallen into the briney

(I would put it up only it took me hours to put them on in the first place...[techno incompetance emoticon]

BBBee · 13/10/2007 20:30

oh have I missed a F&Z photo?

I have a feeling I have misseda 100x one too.

Has Mrs C left?

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:31

I missed 100 too. And MrsC will be back! (if we build it, she will come...)
Franny posted a photo of her birthday hat! (with elfin chin poking out teasingly)

BBBee · 13/10/2007 20:34

oh I remember the hat photo.

DS is 8 today - I got so pissed off waiting for climbing party man to get back to me that I dirched the whole party idea - took out the cash it would have cost adn took ds and dd to landan and blew the lot on fun treatss. Was the best thing ever - we are all knackered now!

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:36

Sounds like a top day!

(ds2 is 7 next week)

TooTicky · 13/10/2007 20:36

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 20:36

Oh Bee what a fab idea, how sensible

there was one of me in the woods that ds took and it was a very nice one for a change. I can put it back on if you are around.

MrsC is trying to stay away. But I feel like she is still around.

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 20:37

it's VERY rude, TooT

it says cleft

and fruit

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:37

Have to go consume dh's homemdae pizza, see y'all tomorrow. (ie: don't wait up

fullmoonfiend · 13/10/2007 20:38

BBBee · 13/10/2007 20:40

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 20:43

oh that is great, the sushi. Mmm I want sushi now...

flattering light

BBBee · 13/10/2007 20:45

oh what a lovely photo - lovely teeth.

Beenleigh · 13/10/2007 20:45

Damn I missed the pics of youthful 37 year old, probably best, not feeling especially youthful myself today, but perhaps that will all change with TEN portions of fruit and veg a day. I'm in Franny. How on earth do you manage to eat 5 portions for breakfast?
Are most people that are doing this vege?

Beenleigh · 13/10/2007 20:46

ah, Franny, you look EXACTLY like you should!

Lullabyloo · 13/10/2007 20:51

dh took woody photo's today.....will i ever get to see them?

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 20:54

Beenleigh you were looking!

I eat loads and loads of fruit at breakfast time. Probably more than is right or proper for one person to eat. This morning I ate a whole mango, raisins, and grapes. I wish I had another mango now.

3andnogore · 13/10/2007 20:54

erm...really sorry, as I haven't really contributed on the thread recently...but I really don't like this thread title AT ALL

Other then that I am fine, but Kids drive me demented...probably to do with trying to learn stuff and write stuff and being constantly interupted and there being a constant noiselevel...sigh...that will be fun next year if I get accepted to University

Hope everyone else is well...
oh and f&v...with that I am just completely rubbish at the mo

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2007 20:56

it was TooT's title! she was being unintentionally filthy!

I was thinking about you today 3and, and wondering where you were. You can always hang out here, it doesn't matter what you have eaten, you know
