For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

FrayedKnot · 07/10/2007 20:08

We are showing our age Franny. I had (but again, sadly have lost) a tape recording of an interview with Mozza on the John Peel show when he had to list his 5 top tracks or something. I remember it inlcuded Shirley Bassey and the Ramones, I used to play it before I went to sleep at night

FrannyandZombie · 07/10/2007 20:10

My AGE? I am 36 that is no AGE

Zippi [narrows eyes] Can't work out if you are taking the piss or not. I'm not Northern you know, it's no good picking on me

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2007 20:17

Boco · 07/10/2007 20:17

Hello Bee, glad you're feeling ok.

lionheart · 07/10/2007 20:19

I am old enough to have seen The Smiths play live.

FrannyandZombie · 07/10/2007 20:21

Boco someone must have it. If someone has it can they please send it to me? So what happened? Did it just get cat fighty?

IdrisTheDragon · 07/10/2007 20:22

What thread? Did I miss a good thread? Obviously so.

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2007 20:24

he made me laugh saying i had lovely teeth and poking them when ds took the photo

FrannyandZombie · 07/10/2007 20:29

Zippi that is a delicious photo, you look like a model

TooTicky · 07/10/2007 20:31

Much as I approve of Morrissey's principles, I'm afraid I find his music a little, well... samey and dull

TooTicky · 07/10/2007 20:33

Lovely photo Zippi

FrannyandZombie · 07/10/2007 20:34

steady on TooT, that's fighting talk

BBBee · 07/10/2007 20:36

zippi you are so lovely in your photo.

Boco - bewilding someoen is good. I pursue long relationships with those who bewild me!

Boco · 07/10/2007 20:38

Franny that thread was fine and then the next morning a load of bounty people came on and called every sad duscusting lossers, and accused everyone of bullying sara, and then it got into a general fight about how evil mumsnetters are versus how illiterate bounty ladies are. And then it was gone I wish mn could have just scrapped all the posts from that morning rather than the whole thing - but i guess people had complained. It'd be good if they explained though as that thread really was funny.

Boco · 07/10/2007 20:39

Very glossy and gorgeous Zippi.

I am a bewilderbeast.

TooTicky · 07/10/2007 20:40

Sorry, I thought I'd put it quite nicely really. I have tried to like it. Boz Boorer, who guitars for and directs and co-writes with Morrissey is also in dp's favourite band, The Polecats. Dp spent a night on his sofa recently. (Boz's, that is, not Morrissey's!)

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2007 20:41

you are too kind lol

vauxhall and i is my dirgey morrissey

sadly haven't managed to find any posts

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2007 20:41

i was going to a party last week

pinkspottywellies · 07/10/2007 20:45

Hello! I haven't been on here for 100 years!

What's happened to BBB? Never mind the floatation tank. Have a bacon sandwich

Hope everyone's well. Have read this thread but not last the last one. I always think I'm doing quite badly with fruit and veg but now I'm in my 10/10 habits it's never as bad as I think Exercise not so good. I do my class once a week but I keep hurting my knee doing lunges. I always think 'it's alright now I can lunge again this week' but it's obviously too soon.

Hello new people. Welcome.

FrayedKnot · 07/10/2007 20:46

Zippi I have never forgiven my parents for not letting me go to see the Smiths live in Ipswich when I was 15. My friends went

But then I went a bit goth and crimped my hair and my love affair with Mozza was over. The fickleness of teenagers..

lionheart · 07/10/2007 20:47

There have to be some advantages to being this mature, zippi.

pinkspottywellies · 07/10/2007 20:47

What was the dog/buggy this Boco?
