For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Ha, yes, I will think that from now on, I have completed them. Did I tell they laughed? She said, 'well, if it turns up we'll know it's yours, it sounds distinctive, and she sniggered. She did.

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:21

The WI? Really, like jam and jumpers?

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:24

I didn't yell at you, Boco, I yelled at everyone. I am sorry, I just feel itchy in my blood. I often get this when I start to get better from being quite ill, as opoosed to a cold or something. I am not shivering, or hot, and tits are not so red, but I am tired and cross.

Lines are not retreating but not advancing but are reducing in strength so are losing the war, I think.

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:26

god i don't understand anyone tonight. I think i'll witter away until someone explains or until i bore myself.

So, dd1 got awarded a certificate in assembly today, for writing good stories. She wrote a harrowing one about losing her teddy in a shop on holiday, it ended with eating seriol for brekfast and feling hapy. She was so proud to get up and get the certificate and dd2 sitting at the back of assembly shrieked 'look everybody, it's dd1!! well done dd1, you got a stiffkit, well done!' Everyone turned and laughed and dd1 giggled, and it was a BRILLIANT moment. Sigh.

(((((((carotte)))))))))))

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:27

aww boco

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:28

oh i know what you mean - the itchy in the blood feeling. oh dear.

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:30

Sorry for shouting. You are very nice and I love you all.

Boco - hurray for your dd, that's brilliant. DD often says she stands up in assembly to announce something but it's a really boring thing llike, we had chicken yesterday. I think they've discouraged it.

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:31

ds1 just said that it's a full moon

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:32

is it, does anyone know? I am relieved someone understands the itchy blood.

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:34

DH and dc's are hiding upstairs, from me I expect, in fact, I wonder if dh sent him down to tell me it is a full moon

that is annoying too, lke suggesting my feelings are lunar inspired rather than valid feelings

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:34

Yes, it is full moon. I think dd1 gets itchy blood too - all jangly and wrong. It makes her want to break things and bite things. Ooh, this is like my werewolf dream again - full moons and psychosis all over the place.

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:35

it was pretty full last night...the moon...so..possible it's a real full moon tonight

ahundredtimes · 27/09/2007 20:36

Do you remember that night MrsC when we played Malory Towers? That was good that was. I thought of it today.

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:36

not saying your emotions are lunar based...just answering your question
[scared emoticon]

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:37

Have you ever been bitten by a carrot 3andnomore? It's nasty, and next full moon, you know what'll happen.....

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:41

natier then fleas???

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:42

yes, I remember that,

we cooked sausages in a storm or something

FrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 20:48

I still have my tunic here [hopeful]

Dp is rather disappointed that his entrance didn't cause more of a stir. I told him not to be so attention seeking.

I liked it when MrF&Z came on - I'd like him to come back and stay a bit - we could ask him questions about what it's really like to live with Franny and stuff. It'd be good - and i like the beardy maudlin musicians - he could give some recommendations.

FrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 20:52

"we could ask him questions about what it's really like to live with Franny and stuff"

his pc privileges have been revoked

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 20:53

So

ARE you doing a banner????

OP posts:
Boco · 27/09/2007 20:55

Can you really do that? Can you really revoke pc privileges? See, that's exactly the sort of thing we could ask him about! Does she make you do auntie dancing? Do you have feminine knees, it could be so useful in forming a fuller picture.

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:56

Did you see the poster? It looks like you doesn't it?
