For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hello!

Missed a couple of days (since my bacon sandwich ) but have been eating f&v (in between serious amounts of chocolate ) and did exercise class yesterday even though the doctor told me not to!

3and I didn't know English was not your first language.

Boco congrats on the exhibition.

Haven't read whole thread properly but hope you're all well. I keep trying to think of thread titles and I can't ever think of veggie ones but I managed to come up with a pun the other night, which I have now completely forgotten except that it contained cream horns and do-nuts!! Whoops

I'm going to make vegetable soup tonight or tomorrow - any tips to make it really yummy?

Carotte · 27/09/2007 19:35

Put in some chicken?

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 19:39

lol, on another thread someone was actually thinking that I was taking the piss...i.e. only pretneding to be german

pinkspottywellies · 27/09/2007 19:40

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 19:41

It's really weird...whilst I love mn as it is...but I do love having this community in itself on it...if that makes sense...I suppose others would call it a clique of course, lol...

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 19:45

btw...wh is the title beautyful fruity not fruityful...???

ahundredtimes · 27/09/2007 19:50

Inset day tomorrow, feels like Friday night here, is nice.

MrsC - how are the gridlines on your bosoms? Has the line been crossed?

3andnomore, I think I might be a pedant. I do. But I try to keep it under control.

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 19:55

lol...
it does feel like Friday night to me..but that is because I am getting drunk...but can't drink tomorrow, as working Saturday, and can't drink Saturday, cause working over night...although really regretting taking that shift..as I thought the home was nearer then it actually is ....so, it's an hours drive there and 1 hour back...but I suppose it's a day and sleep over shift...

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:05

I just had asparagus, tomato, cucumber, baby corn, green beans, spinach, nectarine and strawberries.

Folky types, do you know the Decemberists - i got the crane wife for my birthday and there are some really good songs - I'm listening to it too much and will soon not be able to listen to it anymore. And also cold war kids, which isnt' folky but is also very good. I love finding wonderful new music.

Wonder how Bee got on in Brighton and if she's filled herself full of crying chocolate and is in an ecstatic and blubbing sticky heap.

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:06

100X!!

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:08

Only joking, and slightly put out by endlessly killing threads and only getting 'lol Mrs C' on 10/10... I feel safe amongst friends

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:09

PSW - Make chicken soup, mmmmm

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:10

w mrs c...you don't strike me as a thread killer...

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:15

Oh I'm not really, but you know what I mean, when you say something on a shoe thread or whatver and yu may as wll be invisible, is what happens to most people, UNLESS YOU'RE FUNNY AND THEY ALL LOVE YOU

and don't you say anything either, BOE-COE

la la la

I'm feeling petulant, because I have been ill, and feel a bit better but still weird and a bit cabin fevery, you know?

And I lost my chicken opurse and the police laughed at me

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:16

Carotte · 27/09/2007 20:16

and I'm CROSS

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:17

I killed your thread about your purse i think MrsC, you can blame me - i mentioned tits. I kill loads - but i kind of tell myself that actually i didn't kill it, i completed it, no one could think of anything else to add, so they don't. Hmm, i'm happy with that version of events.

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:17

lol...why you cross???

3andnomore · 27/09/2007 20:18

gosh...are we actually on 10/10 threadkillers united....lol

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:19

Hey, x post, there i am trying to help, and you yelled at me. Why are you so cross Caroot?

ahundredtimes · 27/09/2007 20:19

Oh god, I thought that was embarassing, and SO UNTRUE and was roundly ignored by everybody I noticed. I didn't respond. She runs the WI fgs.

Breasts - map - border lines- retreating or advancing? Is the like the Siegfried Line this.

Boco · 27/09/2007 20:20
