For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

If I were partnerless with no DS and DD I would be probably be doing different things.

(Have no realised the partnerless thing relating to scrabble. Now feel a little ).

Yes, please invite me to scrabble. There is calm playing next door and none of us is dressed.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:50

I have some grapes of my own .

(as we were gong to the supermarket yetserday, DD was saying "buy more mape".)

Boco · 30/09/2007 09:52

i want avi to explain why she dumped me.

i am neurotically falling apart - have felt like i have low level kidney infection for a week, and headache - and now had cramp in my wrist for 24 hrs - maybe not cramp but feels like it - but soo painful cant use left hand so typing taking ages. what could it be ?

hello bee i 'm missing you being here. i drew you a pig.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:53

Hello Boco .

Tatties · 30/09/2007 09:53

Morning all The scrabble tournament sounds like a good idea!

I am going to get dressed and then I am going to make some lentil and veg soup so I could take my goes in between stirs if you want Franny...

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:54

Sorry for all your malease.

I sometimes have phases of it - all my body falls apart physically. At other times mentally I think.

BBBee · 30/09/2007 09:57

hello boco - I think avi saw you for what you were and legged it - or maybe her ou course came crashing through the door and she had to attend or maybe she had a caffine dip.

We have a mango downstairs - it is just about perfect but you know sometimes you just can be bothered with all the slime and peeling - franny tell me off please - I like that.

I miss not being all real time with 10/10 - I wanted to see photos and talk about the carved vegetables and things.

Boco - there is some time warp conspiracy keeping us apart - no pig - no card and my phone says your phone number now does not have enough digits.

Boco · 30/09/2007 09:57

its rubbish, i know i sound like a hypochondriac, but it reeeaaallly hurts [whines]

And, you're all playing scrabble and not on faccebook and i don't even undersand how you're doing it.

BBBee · 30/09/2007 09:58

mrsC has poorly kidneys so you can compare of Franny can do kidney health boot camp.

Boco · 30/09/2007 09:59

oh no! i'm going to find the pig and re send it. she had a pink hat on, just for you. is there a postal strike? 3 days is a bit long for a 1st class stamp!

BBBee · 30/09/2007 09:59

I need 10/10 for dummies - you know like those diets in magazines.

"For breakfast you can choose one from:

apple
banana"

that type thing - I so want to be good but am crap.

What shall I buy at the supermarket?

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:00

i've had problems with kidney infections [sound like dot cotton now] and it feels similar, but not quite as bad, - like i've been kicked in the back - but then it'll be fine for a day and i'll think i imagined it.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:02

I need to regain motivation to Get Going.

Tatties · 30/09/2007 10:02

Oh sorry you're feeling rough Boco

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:02

Bee - the pig is there, i just checked, it's on your profile page.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:03

hello Tatties and BBbee by the way.

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:04

thank you tatties. let me just ask ONE neurotic health question and then i will absolutely not moan again....can you have cramp for 24 hrs? what can you do for it? what else could it be?

there thats it.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:06

Oh god I can't speak to anyone who has a perfect mango and can't be bothered to eat it

my one was SHIT, what are they DOING with them. We can get a man on the moon but we can't get a decent mango, frustle frustle grump arse. Must stop buying them but I crave them so.

Boco that sounds v worrying. Did you have cystitis or anything first? I hope it goes away, quickly

I am inviting everyone to Scrabble. Don't worry if you can't play now, but do tell me (if you get a chance) if you start playing and then go away as I will be sitting patiently waiting with a hopeful smile on my face

What like period cramp? What kind of cramp do you mean?

OP posts:
Tatties · 30/09/2007 10:07

Hello Idris Go and get dressed!

BBBee · 30/09/2007 10:11

shall I post you the mango? It is from an indian supermarket.

Oh cramp boco I don't know. Is it in your back the cramp? have you got a hot water bottle on it? if it is a low lying infection you might need something like long term low dose antibiotics to get rid once and for all.

Are you eating and resting?

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:11

like a cramp you get in your legs and your mum makes you eat marmite. like a really deep aching - constant.

lionheart · 30/09/2007 10:12

Hello everyone. Off to the shops now Franny but will be back quite soon and challenge you.

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:12

no it's in my wrist. it's been constant since yesterday, hurts to move hand and fingers - kept me awake for hours.

BBBee · 30/09/2007 10:13

so it is a low lying long term painful ache?
