For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Well done and good night.

Hello. I keep missing everyone (due to talking to DH). He has gone again now (off to the Conservative Party Conference - not an MP though) and I am in bed with DS and DD.

DS is clamouring for more Thomas games (just did a matching game that had Boco in it) so I will do that for a bit instead.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:12

My dp has taken ds to NQC's dses' party. There are going to be snakes and a bouncy castle. Much like the Conservative Party Conference, I would imagine.

Anyone want to play Scrabble?

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:19

I'm not sure that DH will get to bounce on a bouncy castle for DH.

I am somewhat doom-filled. Bother. The dishwasher has died. Our new bed is not right. There is stuff everywhere. I feel somewhat overstretched. There is no butter because neither DH or I got any.

But the sun is shining and we are going to a farm later on.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:26

Sorry, I have just inflicted my doom on everyone. Yesterday I was feeling argh at everything. Today I am just feeling rather deflated.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:29

Idris would this help?

Or, you could play Scrabble with me?

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:31

Nice balloon .

How do I do scrabble if you are not on facebook? I am a little confused.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:33

(I also knew about NQC's DS's party due to my facebook habit )

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:33

look you just go here and put your emails in

I think we should arrange a big tournament tonight. Oh no not tonight I am going out. Erm, soon.

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:35

Tonight would be a great night for scrabble as I am obviously home alone due to CPC attendance.

(I am trying to Put A Bright Face on things - a la Pollyanna).

Are you going anywhere nice? As nice as a farm with a playground with a combine harvester in it, with two lovely 3 and 2 year olds?

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:36

Bother, misread your message and thought you were going out today soon.

Maybe someone else will be here tonight. Or I could just practise my scrabble skills.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:37

no no not THAT nice obviously

only as nice as a nice restaurant with two friends and the most divinely handsome manager known to womanhood (as backed up by harpsichordcarrier who has checked him thoroughly)

(the farm does sound nice though)

oh no - I missed sharing and scrabble - I was watching stephen fry on WDYTYA - it was quite touching.

LL- great to see you - we missed you.

I have a dull day of cooking, cleaning, washing and sulking ahead.

Well enjoy your scrabble!

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:43

I am still partnerless for today....

OP posts:
BBBee · 30/09/2007 09:44

oh and I heart you all and am sad that I am getting so behind with everything that is going on.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 09:45

I am a little of your meal.

I am also partnerless for the day. And tomorrow. And the next day. (just reiterating in case anyone had missed the missing Mr Dragon).

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:45

Bee we are missing your cheerful and slightly mad presence daily

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 09:47

Idris I meant at Scrabble. Shall I invite you? But you are going out.

I won't pretend to be at being partnerless because I don't think I have ever had the whole day to myself without ds since he was born.

nope
