For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

"I just had some nice news! Remember that project with quentin blake and i showed some of you the pictures? They've selected my two for an exhibition and catalogue which will be 2 of 26, the others including 3 of quentin blakes and other actual famous illustrators, and they want to also make mine into prints and display them in hospitals. the exhibition will be for agents and publishers and will have speakers including gorky paul and jeannette willis. The email was sitting in my junk mail, i'm glad i checked it."

Oh hello, i'm sorting out cupboards, the dds art cupboard, and took everything out, then found a giant loofah so have left everything in a heap and shouted for dp, who said he's not doing anything until tomorrow. So i'm ignoring it.

LL! Your holiday sounds lovely - and so packed! Nice to have you back, we missed you.

The exhibition - not too famous really - just those pictures for the Quentin Blake project have been selected to be in an exhibition of 26 paintings, 3 of them are QBs, and other famous people, and then me. So i'm quite re-enthused because i'd decided to give up illustration and do something else. Now i'm probably still giving up - but maybe trying a bit longer too.

ahundredtimes · 29/09/2007 22:01

Miz? Miz is a word? You have to agree dictionaries before you begin.

Hello LL. Nice to have you back. How long will it take to get the custom-made boots?

We had a film night. We watched The Swiss Family Robinson. We loved the tree house. dd is going to make one tomorrow. I love making my dcs watch old films, they are so slow in comparison. Is good for them, I've decided.

Facebook makes those six degrees of separation about 2, I think. Dh got a 'be my friend' email from someone today, and there on his list of friends lo and behold was my ex bf who I haven't heard of or from for about 10 years. I don't much want to either.

Leave, tick 'I'm finding it socially dramatic' and pull the plug.
