For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Carotte · 27/09/2007 21:51

Yes she did, psw, she was a chaos punk and wore huge boots and I need to see a photo.

I wonder if you can take a photo of a photo?

MrFrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 21:52

That ball, yes she is fond of it and she had a skinhead with a pink fringe, nice!

Carotte · 27/09/2007 21:52

What does she guzzle in the evening?

Carotte · 27/09/2007 21:52

A pink fringe

I don't like pink

Good evening everyone

I have been to the gym but only to have a shower ... we are getting our bathroom done so ours is out of action for a couple of days.

I wish my period would start! I came down to breakfast this morning shouting at inanimate objects and I had to restrain myself from phoning dp at work to ask him why he hadn't taken the bin out I was calm quite soon after my outburst though and went to apologise to ds... he just looked at me knowingly and said, "mummy shouting because you've got a bad ache"

Avi you have my sympathy, I also have a lingering headache that will not shift. Looking at the screen doesn't help. You know I know how you feel about feeding. I keep having serene phases and irritable phases with it. In my saner moments I try to cling to the thought that ds knows what he needs and it's good to try and trust him as much as possible. It is hard though. Also ds is getting to an age where I can start to negotiate a bit with him, maybe start to explain how it's a two-way thing, sometimes I can't feed him for as long as he'd like for whatever reason...

MrFrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 21:55

She was more like a crusty than a punk though, she's got the photos and she's not giving them up. Now she's watching.

Carotte · 27/09/2007 21:58

MrFrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 21:59

Carotte · 27/09/2007 22:00
