For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hullo Fruitiful Friends

Everyone seems in high spirits tonight I must say

lol at "stiffkit"

I have been out since 8am and not seen DS all day

And when I got home he had just gone to bed but I went in to say night night and he was already zonked out

I have tried hard with 10/10 and managed a salad for lunch but only jacket spud with cheese & beans with wilted lettuce for supper in a little Chef

Thank goodness I don;t have to do this very often..

pinkspottywellies · 27/09/2007 21:25

I sometimes feel like I've had enough of bf at the moment but only the bedtime feed really. I just want to hand dd to dh and say 'you do it'.

Boco · 27/09/2007 21:28

I only know about Quark Express.
Yes, i've been now Avi.

FrannyandZooey · 27/09/2007 21:29

Avi a friend who found it almost unbearably irritating to feed her ds when she was pregnant, used to let him feed whenever he wanted but SHE decided how long it went on for. She used to say "I am going to count to 20" and then go as slowly as she could bear. Bit grim maybe but she felt more in control and she said it was the only way she could contemplate doing it at all.

I expect you have thought of everything and could just do with some understanding, but have you tried being very busy together all the time? So that you are in different situations which he doesn't associate with bf, and where he might not think to ask all the time? If you're sitting down then you are a bit of a magnet for a bf toddler I think.

Has this co-incided with being at nursery btw?

Oh i did the counting thing at night - dd would wake and cry for a feed - and i'd say ten seconds, and the first few times she was furious, but after that, she'd lie back down before i got to ten. And now none during the night at all. In fact - i think we're pretty well done now [happy]Confused
