For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

IdrisTheDragon · 24/09/2007 18:13

IdrisTheDragon · 24/09/2007 18:13

Boco, you may just have beaten me at scrabble. Possibly.

Boco · 24/09/2007 18:23

Oh Filthy your ds sounds wonderful! It sounds great, all of it - i loved it when ds said how should i know, and when he told his life story to the blade and carried your bags - it made me want a son too!

Boco · 24/09/2007 18:24

Has the game finished idris - i've got a tricky Q i can't get rid of.

FrannyandZooey · 24/09/2007 18:29

Oh wow at FMF in London

hoorah for ds, that was such a swizz otherwise

and utter dismay at Monopoly - the money is the whole point

FrannyandZooey · 24/09/2007 18:31

oh

have made enormous soup of lentil and every vegetable they sent in the veg box

and am going to the gym

IdrisTheDragon · 24/09/2007 18:38

Boco, I managed to finish it. So saving you from the awkward Q .

filthymindedvixen · 24/09/2007 18:57

oh and I met MrsWeasley and her dd and they were lovely

lionheart · 24/09/2007 19:07

Oh wow at your son's stand up and be counted moment.

It sounds lovely, just lovely, with the bath and the towels and the servants.

lionheart · 24/09/2007 19:08

Were you the banker, Franny and what was your piece?

filthymindedvixen · 24/09/2007 19:10

I mean, I am the only one who used to cheat like mad if I was banker and slide myself cash bungs etc...?

(I always like the old boot - I think I was preparing for my adult life

lionheart · 24/09/2007 19:25

You mean you cheated.

I liked the boat in a Titanic rather than sleek ocean liner way.

ahundredtimes · 24/09/2007 19:34

I hated the dog. I used to do anything rather than have the dog. I liked the hat.

lionheart · 24/09/2007 19:39

The dog was out of place, wasn't it?

TooTicky · 24/09/2007 19:39

3 cheers for fmv's ds!!

I liked the boot and the dog.

Rushing out to a meeting.

ahundredtimes · 24/09/2007 19:41

You liked the dog? Oh no TooTs. Yes it was out of place wasn't it? Everything else was quite glamorous - like the hat, and that low-slung sports car, but the dog?

Particularly horrid was the wiry hair effect.

WHY was the dog there? Shall I do a thread?

lionheart · 24/09/2007 19:42

I think you might.

TooTicky · 24/09/2007 19:44

The dog is there for children to argue over. Of course.

Carotte · 24/09/2007 19:47

The dog was Mr Monopoly's dog, Scotty.

Carotte · 24/09/2007 19:47

I was the boot, mostly.

Are they each supposed to have a symbolic value or what?

Carotte · 24/09/2007 19:49

I am eating almond cake made by my friend with a warm raspberry and strawberry sauce made by me. It is very nice. I have also had peach, banana, grapes, tomatoes, smotthie, rocket, broccoli, sweet potato and an apple. I have walked a lot in the rain.
