For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Ah yes, was playing around a few nights ago . Had been 173 or something. Thought 5 was a bit more sensible. Wonder if you can be a negative number (am really 32).

lionheart · 23/09/2007 21:58

Sorry Carotte (not used to the mumsnet mates thing).

Idris, very sweet.

IdrisTheDragon · 23/09/2007 21:58

I went from photo with DD and me to that short. Had sudden urge for change .

IdrisTheDragon · 23/09/2007 22:01

I am now -32. Not sure why really. Suppose I should just be what I am.

lionheart · 23/09/2007 22:01

You keep adding them!

IdrisTheDragon · 23/09/2007 22:02

I have stopped now.

I think. Although I want to find a better one with DH in. He is very nice .

Boco · 23/09/2007 22:03

Avi! What do you live in? Is it a normal house? why is it so big?

My kitchen is tiny. I moan about my small house, but i do love it. I love the georgian sash windows and the fact that it's tucked away and not on a road or overlooked, and it's got a nice feel to it. When it's not melting because it's made of clay.

Carotte · 23/09/2007 22:04

Oh good, thank you both.

Avi - you look very nice, can I come for tea? I will gluten free cookies. Now, is that dogwood you have your baubles hanging off? What a lovely room too.

Lionhart - hurray I saw it, your boys are wonderful but I want to see you too.

IdrisTheDragon · 23/09/2007 22:12

Thank you for hair comments - it has been like this for about 18 months now. Might do something a bit different with it next haircut. Or might not.

FrayedKnot · 23/09/2007 22:12

I might post pics tomorrow!

But I must go to bed now because I have to work two full days this week including one day driving miles away for a meeting so I need to preserve energy resources.

I just did a logo for an ecobuilder. He makes houses out of straw bale. I'd like one of those.
