For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

FrayedKnot · 23/09/2007 20:12

thank you BBBee..I do love your hat

You do look like someone I know, only younger

BBBee · 23/09/2007 20:14

you know that hat - it was like £700 o something nuts like that - it was in selfridges. I didn't buy it.

Do you know 100? I look like someone she knows too.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 20:23

Oh god, I don't have enough depth to be disorganised

I am so fricking lazy, that is my trouble, so my house isn't immaculate or anything, but I really don't have that much to do, and dp helps. A lot. So I am lazy messy bitch with fairly clean and tidy house.

Oh and we hide everything in the loft and the garage. We should have fab storage because I planned and bought it all when we moved in here, but it is still sitting in the garage in flat pack. Because I can't do it, and dp won't. Like the suitcase thing.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 20:24

Am I the tallest, then? There must be another tall person here? [lonely]

FrayedKnot · 23/09/2007 20:34

When we last moved, we had more stuff in the loft than in the rest of the house.

Mostly DH's stuff.

So we had an agreement that at our current house, we would never put anything in the loft. Actually we have, DS crib is up there, but that's all.

The garage is full though. DH has some stuff in boxes that he has never unpacked (we have lived here 2 years).

He is THE most ridiculous hoarder and I am dawna walters long lost twin.

BBBee no I doubt it would be the same person as it's someone I work with, but you look very nice, if a little surprised

pinkspottywellies · 23/09/2007 20:38

I'm the same height as Boco and BBB, I think. I've made apple cakes and done another car boot sale. DH came today and we made £20. Would have been less on my own but DH was in 'sales' mode! He's very funny!

I'm pleased to have found something nice and easy to do with my apples. Any more ideas? Also is there a really easy carrot cake recipe? They all look really complicated. Not that I couldn't do complicated but the banana and apple ones are sooooo easy, I've got a bit lazy!

Carotte · 23/09/2007 20:42

I have missed all todays photos too. Avi I want to see your close up.

I win the disorganised house competition hands down. No question. There are not a few pretty interesting things lying around, there are piles of shit. Mountains of papers and shoes and gadgets and just stuff.

My breasts are still misbehaving. They have never really been very good. The left one is very lumpy and so excruciating to feed it made me cry three times todays. I broke two blocked ducts with my nail in the bath. It was a relief, although, I would imagine it's not the best way to do it. I am going to find a Leche league thinky cunceller tomorrow as I can't see how this can go on and I must feed Lo for a long time as he can't have milk.

I have had peach, grapes, sweet potato, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, apple, banana, and figs.

TooTicky · 23/09/2007 21:04

Oh Carotte! {huge fruit-filled hogs with a sprinkling of hazelnut booja booja}

100x, please don't worry. I didn't ask, you know, just lamented the state of my current rags. But you are all so kind and lovely

TooTicky · 23/09/2007 21:04

Oh fgs, HUGS not HOGS!

TooTicky · 23/09/2007 21:06

I am tempted to shock you all with a photo of our kitchen. But too ashamed really.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 21:07

I want a fruit-filled hog

BBBee · 23/09/2007 21:09

I was excited by the fruit filled hog too!

BBBee · 23/09/2007 21:09

oh toot please show kitchen!

Carotte · 23/09/2007 21:10

Please do not hug me, they hurt, but thanks for the sentiment.

I am not going to mention them again even if they explode as I have bored myself going on about it. Deal with it, or shut up about it that's what I must tell myself.

Have people been putting photos up and then pulling them down straightaway?

TooTicky · 23/09/2007 21:10

Oh, the decapitated doll - one that my dad gave dd1 many years ago, whose face sort of exploded in fuzz, and who I am mending - was wanting help with the face as I want her to look as she did. I think they used to be fairly common but I can't find a pic of one anywhere. Feels important as we don't have much from my dad.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 21:10

I'm going to do photos of my kitchen now

it isn't very tidy

TooTicky · 23/09/2007 21:11
FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 21:12

Did you get some help with the doll, TooT?

Carotte · 23/09/2007 21:13

It has been one of those days.
