For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Remember when we had to guess what mners look like - i said good teeth, strong thighs and wavy fair hair. And 100 times would look like a female version of him

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:49

I am out all day watching bad comedy films with teenagers

I will hope it it there when I get back

good luck with friend's son, sounds a challenge

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:50

lol and do I?

friend's son is obsessed with watching Odeon trailers on computer. This is fine, he's been doing it for hours, but then dd or ds2 walk past and go 'Oh no, that's an 18, you can't watch that' and then they stop and STARE, and stay for more.

BBBee · 23/09/2007 12:50

I missed it - I just got the tree.

100x you can't know me can you - oh god maybe I am that bag hating lady from school! Oh no I am not that thin I don;t think.

I was on telly but it was mainly my knee and my shoulder so you wouldn' have recognised me from that surely?

Proabbly that blasted dopplerganger again.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:52

Maybe you do. A female Dennis with a touch of Anna Ford. And good shoes.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:52

I am taking 4 teenagers to cinema

one is 14 so I looked for something light, but there's only crap crude type comedies really

I said "well I don't think we can see Atonement as it is a bit strong for R (14 y o)

"Oh I have already seen it 3 times"

WTF?

BBBee · 23/09/2007 12:52

Yes boco ythat is exactly how I minagin 100x to look too.

BBBee · 23/09/2007 12:53

I love avi - I loved her before the photo and now I love her even more.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:54

Bee you looked kind of how i imagined, but i thought you might have a short fringe.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:54

Where is Avi's picture??? I want to see!

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:55

I have said I think 100 is cross between this and this

I hope she IS or I will be v disappointed

BBBee · 23/09/2007 12:56

I am trying to sort out a holiday which is stressful. We might go and stay on a boat in holland for new year but it involves in-laws and I don;t speak the same language as them so it is lots of pointing and smiling and nodding.

Staying on a boat - will that be fun or stupid?

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:57

So do I. Where is she?

friends' son not a challenge - sorry didn't mean to imply that - I like him, he's fun. He talks, when he does, in lines from film scripts. I try to do this too. I just meant that I have to pay attention rather than drift about the place saying 'hmm? food? really?' as I do normally.

BBBee · 23/09/2007 12:57

on avi's profile you can see her but with her head down and last night she put opne of herself up and she is lovely and beautiful in a glowing way.

BBBee · 23/09/2007 12:59

100 - I do that for my friend too with an autistic son but I have to produce a plan of the day in advance and he studies it and reminds me what we are doing. It is great - like having a life coach. I have a cuckoo clock and he waits by it for the hour thing and then tells me what we are doing that hour.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 13:00

No, you didn't imply a challenge, but "severely autistic" did

I have looked after two boys on the spectrum who talked in film scripts. I found it wearing tbh

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 13:01

BBB I would like that. Would you do that for me?

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 13:01

I expect that was one reason I found it wearing

having to follow someone else's agenda

not my strong point

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 13:02

lol, I like tht BBee. We have a grandfather clock in the hallway, he gets in it quite often, well he tries to. He likes the clock.

Today we have had lines from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They are always very good and weirdly appropriate.

BBBee · 23/09/2007 13:04

100 what did you decide to do for DS1's birthday?

fran - me and you would be great together - you can do the plan and I can bring my clock and do as I am told.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 13:04

Mind you friend says he is always happy here - and he is, I think, I hope - and has never thrown a wobbly or anything. I have to lock all doors and windows though.

Anyway. Sorry. Lunch - and possibly dragging said child in my care away from odeon page where is his currently watching a trailer for something called Grindhouse.

BBBee · 23/09/2007 13:06

BBBee · 23/09/2007 13:06

YES! that;s it - she is one of those people who is always so friendly. I look severe. People are scared of me I am told.
