For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Has she gone again?

I'm really not at all photogenic, i hate all pictures of me.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:14

Oh I like the photo of you that your dd took. I like the look of your kitchen too.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:15

Franny's run off because of our terrible, somewhat overbearing, stalkerish interest.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:16

I don't blame her, i was genuinely very frustrated to have missed it. I am a little shocked myself at how badly i want to see what she looks like. I don't really understand how you saw my facebook pictures when you were never my friend on facebook?

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:18

No, I don't know either, but I DID. I saw it, you in the kitchen with the window behind. AND I saw people on a beach and walking in the dark. I don't think facebook is 100% 'safe' to be honest.

Sorry, I wasn't being mad or creepy - I was trying to work out how I could put that photo of me on facebook and where I would put it so that you could see it.

You looked different than I thought.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:20

I think i must have poked you or something, that means you can see my profile.

I look different to how i think i look too. I'm always offended by pictures of me because i'm supposed to look much nicer.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:22

Yes, I'm meant to too. I'm meant to look about 27, I still think I'm 27. When I see our holiday photos I am always shocked -'who is that ancient thickening person on the beach with ds2' - like that.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:23

Oh - sorry - and you DID, you DO look extraordinarily nice.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:23

Also BBee in that hat photo, she looks like someone. I think I know her, but I probably don't, unless she really, really looks like someone famous and that's why I think I know her.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:26

You're very attractive, you look like a young Anna Ford, you can afford to be pleased. I become very self conscious with a camera around. I once modelled an heirloom dress for the independent fashion section - it was a big supplement bit in colour - i had to stand on a lit stage and the photographer shouted things at me and told me to move around and be sexy. It was the most excruciating hour of my life. In the picture i look angry.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:27

I'm not surprised. I want to see you in the heirloom dress. Why did you do this? Was it your heirloom?

I saw something similar in a sunday supplement recently - had friend's mother in it - were you in that?

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:33

No this was years ago. My friend was the fashion writer and she made me. Was my heirloom dress made by my grandmother from a vogue pattern - it's long and silver and she wore it to a ball. I have the picture in a box - its gone all yellow.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:34

Are you there NOW?

I look like a tired twisty faced person. Not v exciting.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:37

BOCO!!!

lawks

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:37

Ah, I see you. You look lovely, and you look quite like what I thought you would (I am squinting my eyes and imagining you with plaits, I need to do this).

You don't look twisted. You do look tall, and clever, and rather purposeful.

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:38

LOL how can I look tall from my HEAD?

I would look like a man in drag, in plaits I think

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:38

sooooo 100

?

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:40

that was a knowing eyebrow raised ? btw

implying "so where are your photos, then?"

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:41

No you are not masculine AT ALL. You look super feminine, in a tall, clever way. I love tall women with long legs and glasses. This is how I'd like to be, instead of loitering down the other end of the line, getting neck ache from having to look up at people all the time.

I wear high shoes often though. And glasses. I am working towards trying to look like you.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:43

Ah yes. Well I have the photo of me I took on the i-photo booth to put on Facebook the other week. I have that and a photo of dd in a hat. And a couple of Luxor Primary School (don't ask).

I can try and put them up but I didn't manage it yesterday.

Boco · 23/09/2007 12:43

Phew thank goodness, i saw it. And you look JUST how i imagined - really, especially the smiley one - didn't i say your hair was like that. You look very attractive and nice.

What was the lawks for?

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:43

Oh you are a sweetheart

NQC always says I am terribly femme

I think it is a) a backlash against years of having shaved head and big boots etc

b) an attempt to try to counteract my genes and hormones, because physically I am NOT very femme

FrannyandZooey · 23/09/2007 12:44

I thought you had gone AGAIN Boco

I thought we were going to spend all day going

"are you there"

"are you there" at each other, like querulous old ladies in the dark

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:44

I look exactly like what MrsC thought I would - this is the only time this has happened to her on MN. So I probably look like what you think I do too.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 12:47

I must go and finish lunch.

Am also looking after very autistic son of friend - as she needs a break from time to time - and this is fine, but I need to pay attention rather than ignore, as I do mine.

Will struggle with the profile thing later Franny, and put up photo of me. Not really worth waiting for though, promise!
