For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Have had just raison. Hello BBB.

lionheart · 15/09/2007 09:35

*raisins even.

Boco · 15/09/2007 09:43

raison d'etre perhaps?

Boco · 15/09/2007 09:45

We're maybe going to visit a commune. Beat that hippy types. My mum is trying to persuade us to move there. It does look very nice.

TooTicky · 15/09/2007 09:49

Commune sounds interesting. I sort of fancy the idea but I think the reality might drive me insane. Depends on the people I suppose.

Had apple in my cereal.

As my age is sort of midway between the younger people and the older people on this thread, does that make me middle aged?

Phew.

Wasn't Zippi back a few days ago?

TooTicky · 15/09/2007 10:01

I have been doing something that I hope could make me some money but might not because it might be crap. Can I count it as working? Please? It would make me feel more useful.

Boco · 15/09/2007 10:04

I missed the age thing - is everyone really young then. could i have a quick rundown of ages please, i'm starting to worry.

The commune is called Old Hall in suffolk. I've got some friends who live there - it's one of the oldest communities to keep running.
have a look

TooTicky · 15/09/2007 10:15

I am nearly 32. Lots of people seem to be 27.

Have fun at the commune. I suspect the people will be surprisingly (disappointingly) normal - at least, that is the impression they are trying to give. I would like to see woad-clad people felting life size llamas whiulst playing didgeridoos.

Boco · 15/09/2007 10:17

Well the people i know who live there are pretty normal - and nice. Now i'm into felting i will felt my own llama if you want to come and watch.

I think it may be Christmas in the lullaby household........
ds & I were plodding around gloomily & grandparentless this morning when the postman turned up with an enormous parcel..........
We are sitting on the rug in the sitting room...having had a picnic breakfast.... amidst piles of green, gold & blue tissue paper having ooooooooohed & aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaheed our way through the most beautiful, thoughtful, totally amazing box of gifts imaginable.
I felt like a small child at Christmas again & ds was sooo excited by each & every parcel that he could hardly contain himself He cannot wait for bath & bedtime to try out his sea creatures & new stories....he hearts melrose & croc
Lovely ones......I honestly don't know what to say....I am touched beyond words. This is the loveliest, loveliest gesture ever & I am reduced to tears by you all...thankyou,thankyou.
How do you all know me so well?Even age long friends would not have been able to choose so carefully & beautifully & thoughtfully.....oh thankyou...each & everyone......I love you all

I just keep gazing in utter wonderment

I'm a tentative knitter. I love it in theory but do it rather awkwardly - all elbows and too slow. And if I put it down anywhere, somebody is bound to come and helpfully remove the needles. I love designing picturey bits though. I'm getting into crochet atm...when I can...

TooTicky · 15/09/2007 13:06

at purple bird mummy and at Lapland

TooTicky · 15/09/2007 13:08

Oh I SEE, it's in Kent! What a lovely idea

TooTicky · 15/09/2007 13:09

Aargh! Talking to myself again...

lionheart · 15/09/2007 13:59

Glad the timing was so perfect, LL.

(I am a just about learning to knit person).

BBBee · 15/09/2007 16:10

oh LL - am glad you like it and as others said it is all F&Z wonderfullness.

Roald Dahl thing was good -dd found a golden ticket and we won some cinem tickets.

Boco - commune? Sounds nice in theory but want if people start to drive you nuts and you can't get away? My DP would never consider such a thing but I like to pretend I would.

I am 33.

Lullabyloo · 15/09/2007 17:50

Franny....i heart you...you are an absolute wondrous darling

I am 35
