For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Yes, yes and thank you for the smiley faces and voices of welcome, but enough with the smiles now, they're making me dizzy.

The cake is due out in 5 mins. Am nervous.

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:40

you missed me the most, didn't you?

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:41

I'll leave again if you start doing all that flirting on the bean bags business.

Give me NEWS. I can't possibly read this whole thread.

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:41

Yes lionheart he is chuffed because he had just waved at me and covered my floor with purple paint

Franny if he is that way inclined you can certainly have him for any future daughters of yours. How do you think we would get on as MILs?

I am really chuffed with ds today actually; he is POOING! HOORAY! I really hope we have turned a corner with that and he's been doing some clever things. He said "bureaucracy" the other day (heard it on the radio)

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:41

[appropriately serious]

Blimey, this thread is slow to load. It is getting unwieldy again.

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:42

100x look at my pictures

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:42

Who is this horror who slammed the door on TooT's dd? Who is this person? I'm going to visit her and glower through the windows and stick my foot in the door and say 'You can't slam it now young lady'. I shall wear black, I shall have an alarming hat and large spikey shoes.

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:43

He's very lovely Tattie. He poos and he paints? The boy will go far.

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:44

News?
My dd1 is miserable and we are in a quandary over secondary school choices.
Ds1 has become an Elvis fan.
Ds2 came to "Oh bother!" in his reading book and read it as "Oh Bugger!"
Dd2 has learned to say, "Mum, you getting on Mumnet?"

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:44

News? There is no NEWS? just roughage

oh FMF is going to Hamleys wearing a beeyootiful skirt

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:44

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:44

Has anyone noticed how old I am now

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:44

there is an apple update thread 100

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:45

That came out worryingly wrong. Was trying to suggest that I was holding onto someone's leg I think .

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:45

LOL at everyone vying for 100's attention

this never happens when I come back from a break, oh no

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:46

Oh yes 100x, you can come and sort everything out. And help me find some real friends for dd1.

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:46

Looking good for 173 aren't we Idris?

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:47

Oh good, applegate. I will go and look.

TooT why dd miserable? Is it because of this mean person? She is jealous because she still has to go to school and dd is currently too cool for school. I will visit.

Oh yes, the claridges trip. How gorgeous, she can stroke the silk wallpaper and make eyes at fashionable men.

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:48

Idris, I am loving the grabbing of random body parts

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:48

gerroff each other

filthers

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:49

She is miserable because she has no friends, and especially because of the door business. She had walked up with her unicycle, bless her, hoping to have fun.

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:50

The cakes are out.

They are not very, well, BIG. I am worried. I think they must have rised a bit, but not much.

Perhaps will have to pursue the cream option for a bit of padding?

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:50

I have to go now or my hot chocolate will get cold

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:51

Put a bit of quinoa in there or some millet perhaps?
