For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

LOL at "cue Franny shuffling OUT again through packed crowds with ds in tow, covering his ears as we go"

Some pics on my profile now

filthymindedvixen · 21/09/2007 22:06

Pah! 36. A mere child!

lionheart · 21/09/2007 22:08

What happened to your goldfish?

lionheart · 21/09/2007 22:11

Can't see pics, tatties, unless they are private and you have to be included on the friendly list to enter.

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:12

Tatties there aren't you know. LOL when I went on your profile I saw that thread "Franny are you around". I hadn't seen it before.

Lionheart I don't want to learn the diabolo, it was ds. He actually got quite fair at it, considering he is 4. I fancied learning the devil sticks but did not show great early promise

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:14

Oh bugger I have put you all on my friendly list Confused

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:15

Tatties, where on your profile? Did I miss them?

MrsC, dd1 went to call on a couple of girls she sometimes plays with. One was in her house, drew curtains, then when dd1 knocked on the door, opened door and closed it again. Now I am and all over again.

Franny, I am 5' and nearly half an ". Size 10 on the bottom and 12ish on the top. An awkward size.

lionheart · 21/09/2007 22:16

Oh, they look cool (like updated Morris -ey folksy things).

That's the second thing you have mentioned that I have had to google.

lionheart · 21/09/2007 22:19

Oh, TooT.

I don't know how it works (or doesn't), tatties.

Tatties · 21/09/2007 22:24

Aha! They should be there now.

Toot

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:24

I like your pictures Tatties .

This thread will have to end quite soon won't it? .

I do love the title .

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:24

devil sticks you can make your own lionheart. They look so cool and simple while people are doing them.

TooT that is crap. I am sorry. Nice children don't really do things like that, do they?

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:26

Gosh he looks so like you! And like Mr Tatties too.

Erm, what a shocker that is

he is v v v good looking, can I reserve him for any future daughter I might have pls? (only would be too weird if they had the same name )

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:28

Tatties, he is sweet

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:29

TooT that is horrible for your DD .

lionheart · 21/09/2007 22:31

He looks so chuffed in that last picture.

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:34

Hello, are you about? Am pitching in briefly in a state of some anxiety. And as it's Friday night, I think it's allowed.

Am currently waiting for cake for dd's birthday party tomorrow to finish baking. I don't think it's looking very good. There wasn't much mixture once I'd divided it between two tins, and I kept finding bits of flour in there.

I'm not much of a baker to be honest.

Am very unprepared for this party, but I am in possession of 25 bouncy balls, for which I have high hopes.

How is everyone? What news? What veg?

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:35

I have changed my age on my profile. I wonder if anyone will notice?

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:35

oops sorry, I tripped

25 bouncy balls? [awe]

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 22:36

put sugar icing all over cakes, they will not care what is in it

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:36

Hello 100x .

I have not been being very good with fruit and veg but DD had a lovely party this afternoon .

You keep being missed. By everyone.

lionheart · 21/09/2007 22:36

Hello, 100.

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 22:37

I have about 6 spare bouncy balls.

TooTicky · 21/09/2007 22:37

100x

ahundredtimes · 21/09/2007 22:38

I thought I might put smarties on it, and chocolate icing. What's not to like? DS1 most exercised that there should be cream, but I can't be arsed with that.

Yes, 25 bouncy balls. They are in nets.

How you? What happened here?
