For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:21

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:21

ooh seasick steve (or "Mister Seasick" as ds called him) was certainly fab

what were you doing with him?

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:22

Idris you are 31 [withering]

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:22

Are you ready for a freshly washed mane yet?

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 21:22

I am 32. Just. 13 days ago.

Has my profile not automatically caught up?

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:22

Come along, Lion, the rest of us got washed today, you won't lose your power or anything.

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:23

Unless you are really Aslan.

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 21:24

How does my profile know DD is 2 (yesterday) and yet it thinks I am 31 .

I was born in 1975. I am 32 [self-doubt creeping in].

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 21:24

It also thinks I joined Mumsnet in July 2003 which is also wrong as I didn't find it until after DS was born, in November 2003.

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:25

Idris - dh is 2 soon and he was bron in 1975

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:26

oh, god, 32 and born

lionheart · 21/09/2007 21:28

That didn't come out right. Franny, you were away doing things with Seasick Steve. We were talking about age.

I happen to pride myself on my beautiful, stylish and clean mane, MsC.

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:31

Now, you know what happens to tongues poking out don't you?

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:31

oh sorry

I didn't do anything with Seasick Steve [affronted]

My conscience went in the Carrotomat

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:32

I will peg you next to Franny's and you can wag together.

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:32

Carrotomat

Carotte · 21/09/2007 21:33

I feel like Dot Cotton. Gotta faaaaggg

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:35

it was v funny actually Mr seasick was playing a small set in one of the little intimate tents before his big set on the massive outdoor stage

it was v popular but we went early, shuffled our way in, and sat down on very small patch of floor etc

ds all ears waiting to hear the great man that daddy likes

SS comes on, turns out it is an interview session with a couple of songs thrown in

one of his first answers was "well I got a gun and I was going to shoot my step dad but then I thought, hell no, I'm only fourteen"

cue Franny shuffling OUT again through packed crowds with ds in tow, covering his ears as we go

lionheart · 21/09/2007 21:37

Flip. So his homocidal look was not fake then?

lionheart · 21/09/2007 21:39

i* (because homocidal is something else entirely)

I still pin the blame for today's mistakes on Riddley Walker.

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:41

no he didn't kill anyone he said

he was in prison loads

dp heard all the gossip, I was back in the circus tent with ds trying to learn the diabolo yet a fricking gain

IdrisTheDragon · 21/09/2007 21:44

I have discovered I had to tell my profile how old I am .

FrannyandZooey · 21/09/2007 21:47

Well I am not telling mine

am actually quite looking forward to being 36 however

it sounds quite pleasantly mature and sophisticated

lionheart · 21/09/2007 21:48

Your profile will keep mum, Idris.

Just had to look that up, Franny, can't you just do drumming instead?
