For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Suddenly coudln't remember if I had siad I was useless at scrabble or some less complimentary word. Luckily it was the former.

I am aviouding tidying up. DH is asleep. I think he has the thing I had earlier on this week where you need to sleep and sleep and sleep.

lionheart · 20/09/2007 21:09

Hello, 10/10ers.

BBBee · 20/09/2007 21:09

oh my dp has had the same thing as yours idris - it lasts about ten years.

FrannyandZooey · 20/09/2007 21:10

Idris LOL

it was very offensive about my MIL sorry am turning into Bernard Manning obviously

BBB it is not very pleasant. I am lazy and crap at housework as well but can't stand mess so it is quite uncomfortable. It means living your life in a little mental box and trying to cram other people into little boxes as well. Not so good.

When my back was bad when I was pg with ds all I could do was lie on the sofa and play Scrabble horizontally. Have any of you read the Stefan Fatsis book on Scrabble? It's very good.

BBBee · 20/09/2007 21:10

thanks everyone for being nice to me about doing that buying thing - I did and you made me feel better and you are nice.

(dare I start a mn wide thread baout it?)

FrannyandZooey · 20/09/2007 21:10

IdrisTheDragon · 20/09/2007 21:16

I think I have a Relationship with Facebook .

DH woke up. He has now gone to fetch the car from the other end of the village. There is a good reason for this, involving DS's bike .

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:16

The right breast didn't really stop hurting even thought the lump went away and now there is a big lump in the left breast and I feel oh so drained again.

lionheart · 20/09/2007 21:16

I'd like to see a picture but I don't want to go on FB.

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:17

IdrisTheDragon · 20/09/2007 21:17

Am now even more about facebook relationship.

Do I have a Problem?

lionheart · 20/09/2007 21:17

lionheart · 20/09/2007 21:19

Mammarian torment?

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:19

Yep. Never had this with other dc's, it's quite tiring. My mother says, well, you better stop feeding then . What will I give him, ricemilk?

I have had a glass of wine though, That was nice.

BBBee · 20/09/2007 21:19

DS (7yrs) has just asked me if I have ever taken drugs. We have an honesty policy. i told him to go to sleep but can see that one coming back in the morning. What do I say?

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:19

Medicinal

BBBee · 20/09/2007 21:19

oh carrot - what sorted it last time?

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:20

Say no, and then when he's older explain why the honesty policy was inappropriate at that time.

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:21

it didn't really go properly from the last two weeks, it's still makes me wince every latch. I breeeeeathe.

Carotte · 20/09/2007 21:22

His joy soothes my pain

FrannyandZooey · 20/09/2007 21:24

BBB a friend of mine dodged that one by saying "well almost all adults take drugs of some sort don't they - alcohol, caffeine, they are all drugs." If you have smoked you could start talking about that and explain why you don't smoke any more. Sometimes they don't want or need the FULL answer IMO, just more information about the subject they are asking about

Carotte you should feed MORE not stop. So sorry this is ongoing problem. Have you phoned LLL? Lumps and mastitis often a sign that you are doing too much.
