For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

3&nomore, having DS at home (drug free birth) with an independent midwife was the best decision of my life bar none. Afterwards i felt about 7 foot high and just, well, Queen of the Universe. I only wish that was the same experience for all post partum women. I have had a lot of challenges since with DS (talipes, colic, constant rashes, Wombling you have my deepest sympathies, do you feel like you've been whacked around the head with the most almighty frying pan?) but throughout it all the memory of my birthing experience has sustained and cheered me.

I feel this might be the right place [nervous emoticon] my lentil-weavery friends, to ask your collective opinion on what tree i should plant above DS's placenta in the garden? Said placenta (vegans look away now) is still lurking in my freezer. I was very fond of my placenta, beautifully velevty and deep red and the size of a huge dinner plate, I was so chuffed I'd grown such a corker, so I'd like her to have a nice tree. Ideas please

So if I were in prison would you send me a photo?

I am sounding unhinged, aren't I? Shall I stop?

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:34

I am NOT a lentil weaver Possum. I just pretend because I love Franny and wanted to eat something other than brie.

Please continue with this conversation now.

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2007 22:34

Possum, how about a fruit tree? I wanted to give my placenta to my friend for his allotment but he expressed doubt that is was vegan. Silly boy.

100 don't you want to know what I look like? Hmm? Hmm?

[hopeful but ultimately pointless]

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:37

Nope.

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:38

100x I can't find you on facebook

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:40

ahundredtiiiiiimes! Where aaaaaare you?!

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:41

Oh good. I'm regretting this now.

I don't think I'm on any networks. Oh no, totally un-networked. Oh fgs, you have to tell me which hat. This has to work both ways, but I'll only find you if I can access you through foxy. Are you Boco's friend? Are you? Hmm?

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:43

No I've only got rl friends on there. I'm on under my real name so I don't know if I want to let you bunch of hairy truckers see!

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:44

It's a big Ascot type hat - pink and black and over the top! I was trying it on in John Lewis (or similar) in Edinburgh

Boco · 05/09/2007 22:45

100 i sent you a message on facebook today.

Which i think means that you can see my profile. And on that profile there are pictures of me without the rabbit head. so there.

MrsCarrot · 05/09/2007 22:47

100x you are not on facebook, I don't believe you

Tatties · 05/09/2007 22:48

It's ok FrayedKnot, you can join the currently post-menstrual full-moon club

Franny that's interesting about your opals... I think I had heard that they were unlucky but dismissed it because I really like them. I haven't read the book either, do you recommend it? I was wondering how your pins and needle thing was too.

I have eaten some fruit today

I think I have to go to bed now

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:49

See, Boco sent me a message so I SO AM on facebook.

However, I haven't got your message. I don't think I can look at your profile page, I don't think anybody can, can they?

I've no idea how it works, I can't get about on it at all.

Boco · 05/09/2007 22:52

[patiently] my message will be in your inbox, there should be a little (1) by it, and you click on it, and it means you can see my profile for a week. Or i can ask you to be my friend and you can see it whenever.

I just saw your picture. You're very nice and like a young anna ford. So for anyone who can't see facebook Anne Ford

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:54

Found you! You spell it with spaces. Trying to hide!

MrsCarrot · 05/09/2007 22:54

So you are, 100x, so you are...

I must say you look exactly as I imagined you and that is the first time this has happened on mnet. I thought Franny had had long dark curly hair fgs.

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:54

I'm going to bed now but will put my silly hat photo on here tomorrow if I get time. For a limited time only!

Boco · 05/09/2007 22:56

MrsC are you on facebook? I didn't know. Be my friend - we will meet anyway, - do you use your real name?

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:56

Oh dear. I must have got nervous and tried to big myself up with spaces.

LOL. I don't look like a young anything, I promise, least of all a young Anna Ford. There honest to god is NOT a message in my inbox or anywhere else. I have looked. It didn't work. You are making it up. Either of these are possible.

I'm pleased you think I look nice, but do I look sensible? Hmm?

FrayedKnot · 05/09/2007 22:57

Not wanting to turn this into a facebook for the technically illiterate thread but I've asked 3 people to be my friends - do they get an e-mail or do they have to log on before they get my message?

None have added me or whatever they have to do, and one is my sister, fgs

TooTicky · 05/09/2007 22:58

Possum, I don't think veganness comes into it where placentas (placenti?) are concerned. We're not squeamish, just concerned about animals. And extremely healthy

Boco, I don't even know what facebook is. Can I please see your bunny?

100x, I'm probably going to have to go to Bath again on Saturday. Shall we wave at each other? I promise not to tell Franny what you look like.
