For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

Have suffered severe imsonisa in the past, what treatments has he tried?

FrayedKnot · 05/09/2007 21:54

Can't see a rabbit

Boco · 05/09/2007 21:56

Have you found animated graffiti? It's on the first page of that - and the gallery page - the rabbit is very small - you may not see him at first - but it is called bunny goes for a walk and is mainly a rainy street.

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 21:56

Out of interest - how long has it been til people have a period after having dc?

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:02

I like the rabbit Boco. Is the point of the programme that you get to see how people have drawn thier picture? [stupid]

lionheart · 05/09/2007 22:03

Can't you put it on You Tube, Boco?

I wanna see the bunny.

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2007 22:04

PSW about a year for me, I think

Boco the drawing thing put 2 of my friends off Facebook. They have a friend who uses it, in between finishing her PhD and looking after her son, and they visited her the other day to find she had just spent the last half an hour drawing a flower. They were slightly appalled.

please excuse non-vegetably thread crash, there are two hours until the Save Independent Midwifery petition closes, please could you consider signing it?

petitions.pm.gov.uk/midwives/

(curses on my inability to do links).

www.saveindependentmidwifery.org gives you all the background.

Basically, if independent midwives are hamstrung by an inability to procure insurance, that is the thin edge of the wedge for midwifery as a strong and autonomous profession in this country, and thereby a slow but sure erosion of pregnant, labouring and post-partum women's choices about how they have their babies.

Sign! Grab everyone in your household and get them to sign. Just a few clicks of the mouse - pleeease.

I am eating a nectarine as I type.

FrayedKnot · 05/09/2007 22:07

Boco I am speechless with awe at your Bunny

I have dug it

3andnomore · 05/09/2007 22:10

Possum, signed it a while back
Recently I actually met a Independent midwife that I had spoken too on the net....she was sooo lovely...if anyone needs an Independent midwife in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas area....I can link you to the website....

Boco · 05/09/2007 22:15

Oh dear Franny your friends would not like me then. The drawing is the best bit. Jools is the best - and califrau. How is drawing a flower wasting time though - it's very therapeutic.

The point of the animated bit is silly and boring to watch - but easier to draw with as it has more colours and effects.

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:17

I also signed it a while back - couldn't remember if I had so had to search!

Oh just had to put password in. Strange things are happening tonight [spooky emoticon]

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:20

I have no idea how to find the bunny.

I can't do facebook. People on here kept emailing, people I like, and I had to go and find them and tell them I did want to be their friend but wasn't doing facebook.

I have put a photo of me on there though. I am only foxinsocks friend. That's it! I only had a photo of Dorothy Parker on my laptop so I put that on, but it's embarassing really, so have taken a photo of me on iphotobooth, this very night.

I am sharing my personal appearance. Which is more than you are doing Boco.

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:20

I seeeee. Dig it! I dug it too

Oh no password again!

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2007 22:21

I am sure they would like you. You are lovely. They were just scared that someone with such a huge workload and so little free time could get sucked in to drawing pictures to send to their friends. They thought it might happen to them, too.

PSW, Tech has turned off the auto complete on our passwords because one poster ended up signed in as another, due to some kind of internet fart

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2007 22:22

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:25

lol. I am NOT sending you a photo fgs Franny.

pinkspottywellies · 05/09/2007 22:26

Can I see your photo 100x??

By the way - how many people are going to the meet up?

SauerKraut · 05/09/2007 22:28

LOL at the name guessing and the synchronised monthlies! It must work the same way as the clock- I'm an hour ahead of you lot (except Papillon, of course!) and a week ahead with the doodahs!
3, I am becoming braver by the day- my new broadband helps. Was hardly worth bothering on dial-up, everyone else had posted several essays before I got a word in!
TT, my dd3 does a lot of singing with flowers in the forest, the mountains are a bit too far from here! Kindergarten is from age 5-7, forest every Friday, no reading, writing or any other formal work, a lot of Franny-type play, all related to real life. Only half days. School begins the year they turn 7, no full days, lunch at home. They still have loads of time to play. Big emphasis on independance- they walk there by themselves from the second term of Kindergarten onwards. They have a lot of excursions, walking days to streams where they paddle and cook sausages on open fires. Camp for a week once a year.

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:28

I have no idea how it works. Yes, you can see it on foxinsocks friends page. Is as me, I mean ahundredtimes, not RL name.

i'm not going to the meet up. But now you know what I look like it doesn't matter.

Where is this big hat of which you speak?

I look a bit ropey. I should have put on make-up and brushed my hair.

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2007 22:28

100 WHY NOT???? Hmmm?

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2007 22:29

so everyone on facebook is allowed to see you and not me? I see

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2007 22:31

It's really not that big a deal I can promise you that (especially given general ropey appearance and lack of make-up).

I am not sending you a photograph because you are not in prison and neither am I, and it is therefore not necessary.
