For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Mmmm, I made truffles a few months ago they were delicius. So pretty with all the hundreds and thousands on, and we had crystalised violets and rose petals too. Yum!

I wonder how I'd do them without cream, maybe champange?

How odd. It posted both of them pre and post spelling correction! I really should go to bed

FrayedKnot · 22/08/2007 22:05

I have just barged into a night feeding thread with mention of 6 week olds crying for attention and really wish I hadn;t.

I need to chill out with my figs.

(Desperately trying not to think about champagne & cream truffles)

zippitippitoes · 22/08/2007 22:10

lol you could see the look on my face

my inner teenager coming out..

I'm sure fleetwood mac are fine

MrsCarrot · 22/08/2007 22:10

Oh dear. It's unbearable to think of tiny babies crying and people thinking they have to leave them have to impose a routine. It makes me sad too. Think of truffles instead!!

I am going to have some rose tea. I am obsessed with roses atm.

lionheart · 22/08/2007 22:12

Yep. truffles instead (or some of that flower chocolate).

FrayedKnot · 22/08/2007 22:13

Rose tea? I'm curious.

FrannyandZooey · 22/08/2007 22:13

Zippi no need to patronise me, I can take your disdain

I might send everyone flower chocolate for christmas.

Mind you, how many of us are there?

Well, maybe one square each.

FrannyandZooey · 22/08/2007 22:18

I don't think I like it MrsC (not that I have tried)

I don't like flower tastes [leper]

Rose, chamomile and lavender tea to be precise, FrayedKnot, it's delicious.

MrsCarrot · 22/08/2007 22:20

Well, you can have a square of ginger or orange, Franny

Parma violets are great, especially those large ones.

Well, I guess none of you would like the crying chocolate then would you? Won't be sending you any for Christmas.

MrsCarrot · 22/08/2007 22:41

Though lavender creme brulee does sound like the devils spit.

lionheart · 22/08/2007 22:45

Chocolate is quite different from sweeties.

lionheart · 22/08/2007 22:46

Or should that be to sweeties?

Anyhow, quite different.
