FAB TITLE BY FMF (AND BBB)

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

F&Z do you know me? what were your years?

MrsCarrot · 17/08/2007 22:28

Franny! Ha, at you two-timing

FrannyandZooey · 17/08/2007 22:28

I wasn't at college with you BBB. I went to A Different University and bombed out and didn't get a degree.

FrannyandZooey · 17/08/2007 22:30

Oh and of the 5 of us who went for dinner last night me I was the only one there without a degree and one of the only two without a doctorate

I am feeling intellectually inferior. I bet you all have doctorates on here as well, don't you?

OP posts:
BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:31

hahaha - I know people much less intelligent than you who have doctorates!

FrayedKnot · 17/08/2007 22:31

1988-1992 BBBee

Does that help pin down the white witch thing, Boco?

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:33

'much less intelligent' isn't right is it?

Boco · 17/08/2007 22:33

Oh MrsC, it was so confusing, on that thread about things people would really like to say but hold back, so is just people saying 'ffs, shut up, idiot', stuff like that.

And i said now i'd always be worrying that's what people are thinking when i wrote all the usual self absorbed bleating stuff that i often write, and it's like when i read a leaflet today about pus in milk and i thought well, that's it, i'll always think of pus when i drink milk, and i'll never be able to enjoy it - and that thread is a bit like the pus leaflet.

And then desi said, 'well, we'll just tell you to fuck of then boco' and she wrote . But i don't really understand what she meant. And i thought she meant she'd be relieved if i'd fuck off. But actually that's fine, because i think i am quite irritating, and i'm not offended, i'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. For being annoying.

But it's nice in here.

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:33

'much fewer intelligent' maybe?

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:33

'more fewer intelligent'

FrannyandZooey · 17/08/2007 22:34

"hahaha - I know people much less intelligent than you who have doctorates!"

somehow that has failed to fill me with total security in my cerebral prowess

OP posts:
Tatties · 17/08/2007 22:34

Franny you need to go and lech at my link further down

I really can't keep up with this thread

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:35

I don't thing she meant people would be relieved if you fucked off - she was being flippant. But I think it was desi who called me 'deranged'.

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:36

someone do that sentence for me - why can't I do a sentence.

FrannyandZooey · 17/08/2007 22:36

Ooh no Tatties I have done ENOUGH leching for one night

Boco you have never, ever, irritated me in the slightest bit. And most people really hack me off, so there

OP posts:
BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:37

I know people who are less intelignet than you who have doctorates.

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:38

but they are not just less - they are more less - much more less. Lesser?

FrannyandZooey · 17/08/2007 22:38

BBB the sentence you meant to write was:

"Franny you are so intelligent it just shines out from your every word. Some people just have a natural intelligence while being shit at being at University and I think you should have a doctorate in fruit and vegetables."

I expect your fingers slipped.

OP posts:
BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:38

do you think I have a processing disorder?

FrannyandZooey · 17/08/2007 22:39

"I know people who are EVEN THICKER THAN YOU who have doctorates"

that is what we are all hearing

OP posts:
Boco · 17/08/2007 22:40

Thank you Franny. That's good, i'm glad about that.

Yes, flippant, i'm sure.

Was she being flippant when she said you were deranged? Or was she concerned? Had you been mainlining expresso?

BBBee · 17/08/2007 22:40

espresso

Boco · 17/08/2007 22:41

I think it's 'i know folk what are well thick, thicker than what you is, cos you is well clever.'

ahundredtimes · 17/08/2007 22:41

No, no Boco you've misunderstood i think.

Desi was saying - ah so next time I think you're doing a crap thread, can I tell you to fuck off? What a relief that will be because that's what I want to do, not tell you to fuck off personally, but say What I Think.

Do you see?

Boco · 17/08/2007 22:41

You can't be a pedant NOW - not with a processing problem!
