FAB TITLE BY FMF (AND BBB)

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I thinkearth mother is nice and I have at least found something nice today..a potential new obsession in this last.fm radio new music and old stuff endlessly

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 18:12

So do I, absolutely. Is the mark of the desperately insecure.

HOWEVER I don't think it is ever admiring or flattering. EVER.

Oh fgs, get on the thread.

zippitippitoes · 16/08/2007 18:30

oh no dp has texted me now...I asked him what was wrong ..so he has answered..he thinks he has found someone else

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 18:35

Is that what the text said Zip?

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 18:44

Oh zippi

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 16/08/2007 18:49

he left me at the end of june but I've been seeing him since as friends..except that on sunday it was more than friends, which was my fault..and should have slapped myself

now I'm gutted all over again

so yes his text says ok i just didn't want to hurt you again but if you must know i think i found someone else better not to have any details i know it makes it worse

lionheart · 16/08/2007 18:49

Hello, apple and pearers. I have been flitting around London but in a shallow and frivolous way

(as opposed to cultured and stimulating). It is hard to eat well when you are travelling.

LL hope you are feeling better.

Off to skim the thread in case I missed something momentous.

lionheart · 16/08/2007 18:50

Sorry he's such an ass, zippi.

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 18:51

Oh zippi

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 16/08/2007 18:54

I hope he met her since monday which was when i last saw him

but I suppose it doesn't really matter

zippitippitoes · 16/08/2007 18:54

sorry shouldn't be polluting this nice thread

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 19:01

Zippi pollute away, I wish we could be more useful

No I don't suppose it does matter, really, but it is always tempting to want to know the details. Staying friends was always going to be dreadfully painful don't you think? Can you make a bit more of a clean break now?

thanks...I'm going out for my daft walk now...I usually text him to say I'm going and then he usually sees me at some point

no more though

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 19:22

Zippi I hope you have a good walk

I am so sorry about dp

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 19:28

Enjoy your walk Zipp.

It might be that it's better all finished Zipp, because sometimes just one Sunday becomes another and then another and then before you know it you're right back in there but he still thinks you're 'friends' and it's heart break all over again.

Is shitty though.

I'm back from my EUROTASTIC couple of days. I am going to read the thread now and se what you have been doing - by the look of it I may be gone some time....

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 19:46

Oh oh oh, she's back.

I've been mad BB. I've been thinking 'oooh it's 2.30, she should be there by now.' Has been quite unsettling.

Come back. Tell all.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 20:08

oh god zippi - I am so sorry. Have to do bed but will be back later.

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 20:20

Oh FGS BBee. Did you like it? Did Ds1 have the best time of his life? How was the coffee? Did DH survive?

Boco · 16/08/2007 20:31

Oh no Zippi Hope you're ok.

BBBee wake up! How was it?

BBBee · 16/08/2007 20:39

okay - now get this - DH didn't come. Now DH often has an 'I've got a headache I need a lie down' moment during these kind of things but this was a genuine thing. I did wonder if I was silly braving the trip with just me and an adventourous 7yr and a nervous 5 yr old - but I did and it was great - so amazingly wonderful. But as DS put it 'a little intense.'

BBBee · 16/08/2007 20:41

so I did it on my own -passport control with two excited children undoing all those fabric barrier things, toliet trips with all three of us (every FUCKING TIME!)

BBBee · 16/08/2007 20:41

actually will start another thread - not every wants to know about my euroFABtastic time.
