For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

We were teasing, sorry, hard to resist.

What an ace cake.

FrannyandZooey · 02/07/2007 12:57

Yes small and a bit woodsy looking. With lots of cardigans and woolly tights and flat shoes. Is that right?

I'm still having nightmares Franny! (Do they move closer in the night?)

TooTicky · 02/07/2007 12:58

Sorry, no pudding bowl (although my mother and grandmother conspired when I was about 9 and gave me the most dreadful haircut. With a real bowl. The photos still exist to haunt me.)

talcy0 · 02/07/2007 12:59

.........banana, fruit combo smoothie, more grapes......and an award

FrannyandZooey · 02/07/2007 12:59

FMF they have very sweet dispositions. James is the cheerful one and Simon is more melancholy. DS loves them.

Oh, I hate tights. My mother made me wear them to secondary school. The shame.

Greensleeves · 02/07/2007 13:00

Greensleeves · 02/07/2007 13:01

talcy0 · 02/07/2007 13:03

talcy0 · 02/07/2007 13:03

the cake does look fab...take a look at the one on my profile....spot the difference...

TooTicky · 02/07/2007 13:04

Cardigans, yes, chunky ones, but only in the winter. Jeans falling to bits. Brio T shirt. Elderly hemp boots. Hair in pony tail because a) it annoys me and b) it needs cutting - or something. I have probably disappointed you greatly

Oh I wore woolly tights throughout my adolescence by choice

is there something wrong with them then?

[knocked back by tide of smuggery from Greeny]

I hope you read all the mockery of you on the last thread Greeny. I wouldn't want it to have been wasted

Upper fourth, a good year I think...

"My word - I wish I had stunning eyes like that," said Alicia enviously. "They're marvellous, how sickening that you've got to wear glasses."
"Oh it's only for a short time," said Clarissa, putting them on again, looking rather shy but pleased at Alicia's admiration. "I'm glad you like my green eyes! Gwendoline thinks it's awful to have green eyes like a cat."

First entrance for Felicity too..

but ANYWAY, 2 kiwis, 1 nectarine, 1 banana, some blueberries and lunch will be beetroot and carrot coleslaw, with green leaves and artichokes, cucumber and pepper.

Your cake looks splendid, Toot, I was hoping for a peek of you, I only remembered where tooticky was from the other day despite being a moomins fan, someone has that name too I think.

The temperature has just dropped and there is a thunderous looking cloud outside, very strage spooky light, I better get my washing in. When will it be sunny for a whole day?

FrannyandZooey · 02/07/2007 13:07

hmm will search about. Sound very exciting indeed
