For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

at cheese being self-limiting

cheese is the sole reason I am not vegan

I'm veggie. Vegan except for (carefully chosen) honey.

Greensleeves, I am grinning at the description of your fart.

Thanks Tatties I am going to send you those shoes btw, it's just that I'm going to polish them first, and I can't reach the polish...

Made risotto with lots of spinach, cabbage, onion and garlic. Then multigrain banana pancakes with maple syrup. Ds1 has made a cake with raspberries, loganberries and gooseberries cooked into it. Will reward myself with a piece after I have done the washing up (with cold water)

no life...

I am not fat, just shifting metabolism (Don't anyone hit me, but gone up from 8 to 10 in several months. Don't wish to get bigger as cannot afford wardrobe change!)

ahundredtimes · 02/07/2007 22:35

I'm coming in here to relax and unwind after the India Knight thread. Was exhausting and then I felt all bad for her at the end.

FrannyandZooey · 02/07/2007 22:36

Me Avi? No, just, like FMF, have gone up a size since breastfeeding stopped

have bought new clothes now though so don't care (was a bit grim for a while when bursting out of things)

100x it was fine, don't worry, I think she had fun

Boco · 02/07/2007 22:37

to be honest i had no idea who she was - has anyone in here read any of her books?

Professorfilthymindedvixen · 02/07/2007 22:37

my stomach hurts today and I have horrid red lines left from black cords which used to be loose

ahundredtimes · 02/07/2007 22:38

No I haven't!

F&Z what do they normally do then? Is it vicious?

FrannyandZooey · 02/07/2007 22:38

I know vaguely who she is but since my opinion is that she is a silly cow I kept well away

OP posts:
Professorfilthymindedvixen · 02/07/2007 22:38

I read one of her books once. Twas Ok, amusing in places but I'm not a huge chick lit fan. (Actually, not at all!)

FrannyandZooey · 02/07/2007 22:39

Piers Morgan was good

ahundredtimes · 02/07/2007 22:40

Oh I made some progress the other night on the dark thing as it happens. But then there were a lot of in jokes going on, which did confuse me rather.

Boco · 02/07/2007 22:41

Was that a clue?

At the xmas meetup did you all sacrifice a minor celebrity? Was it like wickerman, but with B List famous person?

ahundredtimes · 02/07/2007 22:46

Oh god no Proff, there's no clique here. Other than the people who attended the infamous 1996 christmas meet-up and won't spill the beans on what happened

Professorfilthymindedvixen · 02/07/2007 22:47
