For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:09

I wish I were long and thin to match my feet, not if I eat carry on eating like today anyway, who stuffs steak and chips on a Tuesday I ask you?

Franny, apologies, there has been little fruit and veg to speak of today, well, sweetcorn tomatoes and mushrooms but they were somewhat counteracted.

I like the sound of your eyeshadow

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:09

Did you work out how to put the green eye pencil on in the end? I was going to post, but got as far as Cod going on about going from the middle to the edge and thought I'd leave you to it.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:10

MrsC pregnant ladies that is who

100 can you explain it so I can understand it? Because I need eyeshadow 101 I think

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:10

Oh yes sorry, and erm, sunflower seeds today, did I mention them? Oh and we ate watermelon for breakfast. Was pippy but nice.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:11

100 seeds are NOT fruit or vegetables

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:11

Mrs C are you pregnant?

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:13

Oh yes sorry, I keep forgetting, I keep thinking this is healthy food not just fruit and veg.

Eye make-up - what do you need to know exactly? How to use the pencil sort of thing?

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:13

so coconut doesn't count then because I looked it up and it is a seed!

I need to know about eye shadow too, wore it for the first time at the wedding and I've got the bug. Green is my favourite colour.

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:14

No, lordy, unless my name is Mary! I am behaving oddly it's true, but more likely my cycle is returning

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:14

yes tell me the pencil thing

I put it all across the top and I think I did it too thickly

I put it all across the bottom and it looked bad

my usual thing is just to go over the bottom with that BeneFit bent brush and the same colour eyeshadow as I am using on the lid

I don't know if I end up looking sufficiently lined

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:15

what colour is best for blue eyes?

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:18

Hello had an ok food day, not great - big bowl of fruit and muesli for breakfast - tomatoes at lunch time and an apple, but then flagged badly by tea time - didn't feel like cooking and was in very bad mood. Dp was lovely, cooked spaghetti, but i was horrible to him for not putting enough vegetables in it. Then i was horrible about all sorts of things, until I had a very long bath and he did very useful kind things. Now i'm feeling a bit ashamed. It's PMT, i feel evil.

100 are you makeup pro? I imagine you and franny without makeup, fresh faced and chipper.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:18

I have had the rest of the salad, and a big bowl of cherries.

I hope to go running tomorrow but will do usual biking anyway if nothing else.

We had the two girls my boys are mad for, over briefly. DS2 is enamoured of both of them, the older for being an Older Girl, and the younger for bum shuffling in a completely mad way with a bare bottom, on the pavement, the other day.

DS2 went out looking for them at the giant loofah (which is now rotting) on the weekend, even though we knew they were off at the caravan.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:19

MrsC, in theory, brown. As it accentuates them. But I bet it depends on skin colour and what sort of blue your eyes are.

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:19

Oh god NO STOP. I ponce about on here but in RL am painfully low maintenance. You know, short hair, wear make up rarely but nice shoes.
Well, now I'm quite flattered, maybe I could help after all.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:19

Boco I am wrinkly and made up

I look nothing like people think I do

now what size are your feet?

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:20

Arse, meant to ignore the makeup and shoes conversation. Am off to bed, anyway. Insane week, DH is working late tomorrow, and then off on Thursday doing archery, skeet shooting and indoor rock climbing.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:21

Jeez NQC you have a giant rotting loofah near you? remind me not to come and stay for a while

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:22

Ahah. Boco's outed me as clearly low maintenance type. Boco has small feet too i think, but probably not as wide as mine.

Mrs C and Franny, for what it's worth, never one colour on the eyes, I don't think, not same colour pencil and shadow.

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:23

Thanks, NQC, I have been wearing a kind of mushroom colour, maybe green is out for me then.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:23

It's a giant drawing of a "loofah", made out of lentils and rice and so on. We helped make it, weekend before last.

But since then, of course, it's started rotting. I spent our time there today trying to work out where the smell was coming from, not realising it was coming from the loofah we were standing on.

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:24

never one colour?

I am a make up novice, and this liner business?

franny, I do not believe you are wrinkly, not with all that algae

Boco · 26/06/2007 22:24

I have a very clear image of you Franny - i don't believe you're wrinkly and made up. How old are you? Am i allowed to ask you that? My feet are size 6. Very wierdly narrow though. And i have a bizarrely large big toe. I quite like it actually.
