For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I would love to love my big toe

Boco, am still in awe of your Aldeburgh win, I have never been there though it's not far. We never get further than Southwold

Boco · 26/06/2007 22:27

A picture of a loofah made out of lentils? I cant' begin to imagine how that would come about. Were you making a flag of wholesome?

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:27

Boco am 35, ex-smoker, ex-drinker, ex-drug taker

I am wrinkly

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 26/06/2007 22:27

Ah Boco has bigger feet than me then.

I mean, I think one colour can look a bit blocky. On the rare occassions I bother, I sort of smudge a cream glittery one higher up and wear a greeny one on the eyelid. But jeez, I'm really not an expert. I probably look a disaster. You need Cod, she wears it every day and knows everything about it.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:28

NQC I am speechless

Boco she doesn't actually mean A Loofah

she means a "loofah"

Boco · 26/06/2007 22:28

Oh don't be in awe it was basically embarrassing and painful - as is everything at 15 - especially poetry!

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:28

ha ha ha, Franny, and you seem so virtuous

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:29

It's not a picture of a loofah, it's a picture of a "loofah". Some community art thing. It's huge maybe 10 metres by 10 metres? Something ridiculous like that. No, I've found a website mentioning it, it's 25 metres across.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:29

100 what I do is put a lighter colour all over and then do a darker or coloured bit in the outside corner and the same colour underneath as a liner

it probably looks extremely 1987

are there make up websites? with pictures?

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:29

I kept meaning to mention it on here, as a 25-metre loofah (or "loofah") is certainly of note ...

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:30

It was Aldeburgh! My friends read there last year, I did something with them at wells but they didn't invite me there! I would have been embarrassed about the local paper though, I am not photogenic.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:30

Frances, is the latin word for "loofah" allowed on your thread?

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:30

OOOOOH Southwold

I love it so

Boco what is this about Aldeburgh? God I live Suffolk, I could swallow it whole with jam and cream

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:30

erm, yes, NQC, I shall avert my eyes

just never in titles [shudder]

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:30

How much does "loofah" not look like a real word if you type it enough times. It just looks like some sort of onaemetapoeia (sp!) for someone getting punched in the gut.

Loofah!

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:31

how did you make a 25 m ANYTHING? and why?

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:31

Loofahs are arachnids. If that helps. Frances has a ... distaste? ... for them. So they get called 'loofahs'.

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:31

Mmm, Suffolk, North Norfolk is quite nice too but strangly more poncey with Londoners than suffolk though it's further.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:31

It is art.

It's a drawing on the ground made out of sand, soil, lentils, rice, birdfeed, etc etc.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:32

It was great fun, the organisers did the basic drawing, and then you'd show up, be assigned an area to work on, given some basic direction (e.g.: make a pattern, please) and then off you'd go. DS1 really enjoyed it, and DS2 was a nightmare.

Boco · 26/06/2007 22:33

So is it a loofah or a you know what? I don't understant.

Southwold is very nice 100 - if you have ponce leanings you'll like it - it's a bit ponce. Nice beach and nice pub and pretty. Go to the alternative amusements on the pier - they're great. We go lots as we live about 40 minutes away, but sometimes it can be overwhelmingly boden with all the londoners weekending. Go to Walberswick - that's close and nice - like a proper village green by the sea, nice sand dunes. Aldburgh is nice too - but stony. My favourite place for walking is Dunwich Heath - it's really pretty.

MrsCarrot · 26/06/2007 22:33

I like the sound of this loofah

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2007 22:33

and it was 25 m wide?

Blimey

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 26/06/2007 22:33

It's a you-know-what.

Got some good coverage in the local paper, it was quite impressive-looking.
