just watched the highlights of the Olympics, so sad about Paula. Isn't it funny how certain things move you? i always find long-distance v.emotional either way. i was also quite teary when seeing paula but also shivery watching everyone else finish, it's such a relief and high to do that final sprint (she says as if she's an experienced runner)!
cc, only joking. charlton heston played Moses in the Ten Commandments and Ben Hur. You'd probably recognise him if you saw him. Don't be ashamed if you don't though because it just means you're a spring chicken
I'm coming on to 30 next april, but my mum was and is a movie monster, so i grew up watching everything. fg - shock of having 2 babies (even though planned) not to be confused with fresh-faced-ness
Well done Midden! how brave to avoid situations like that. not sure i could ahve done it, probably would have just said 'sod it' and ended up puffing i agree that we're lucky to not have smoking partners though, cc and fg are forces to be reckoned with don't you think? my mum and dad smoke, so i know how THAT feels.
I'm a bit stumped about the rash cc. def. sounds like allergy. what did she eat or come into contact with that morning? i've had it a couple of times, not nice, and my skin just erupted into these nasty swollen mounds wherever i scratched! Try Kalomine (is that how it's spelt?) from pharmacy to sooth the itchiness, or boil some chamomile tea and when cooled, pat on skin to calm. have you thought about allergy testing if it's happened before? i was allergic (i think) to a certain orange colouring and had icing where it was used. Terrible result!
do you know, i actually didn't like the smell of tobacco in pubs even when i enjoyed smoking. and when someone's or your own smoke flys into your eye, it stings like hell!!
off to bed now, see you guys tomorrow. WELL DONE ON ANOTHER DAY!!!
