**OUCH! BITTEN NIPPS THAT SWELL UP?***

Good lordie, dd had a cold which got her so frustrated as she couldnt breathe to feed that she chomped on my poor nipp, which has now swelled up into a weird white bump/blister thing and is agony to feed from.

She did it a few weeks ago to the same one, and a blood blister appeared at the tip, which disappeared after a few days of very very careful feeds.

But when I feed her she gets distracted by the slightest noise, eg me sneezing, dh coughing on other side of room, and whips her head round while still attatched. Apart from feeding her in a soundproofed box how the heck do I stop her?

She also tugs very hard on the left one, but is an angel on the right?

Any ideas?????????????
ps she is 4.5mths and I am stopping bf at xmas probably...if I can put up with this pain till then!

i wish i was a b cup again, i was before ds1 and they never went down again, i really hope they do this time as they get in the way!!! i cant get my uniform done up over them at the moment which is , they sent me some new uniforms (well they are someones who's left i think) and they are bloody maternity ones!!!! i had enough of those last time with the bow at the back, just to highlight my stomach even more. people will think im still pregnant wearing those!

Feeling bit better again, and the do was ok. The food was lovely, drank too many Gin&tonics and the singer was crap, but it was nice to bother to put makeup on for once!

Got my sister and her fiance round tomorrow (sun) and my other sis and her partner over on xmas day so its all systems go with cooking, cleaning etc, glad my mum is here to help! also been pigging the ferrero rocher, gorgeous. I love Xhristmas.

I HATE being sober, when surrounded by drunks! Not even fun to gloat the next morning. I had a glass of champagne and it was lurrvely.

DD has a horrid cough that is keeping her awake and feeling whingey, and I'm back at work tomorrow booo...for 2 days only though.

it's not fair my dp has eaten all the strawberry creams and orange cremes from the roses and quality street, so i thought i'll have a celbration instead, and the mans eaten nearly all of those as well!!!! i hope he felt sick after eating all of those!! that will teach me for going to bed early. oh well, at least theres less for me to eat.

i havnt been to the gym for 3 weeks and have put on weight again... i still have 3& a 1/2 stone to go.....

I LOVE the strawberry and orange creams most, and Quality Street ones are so much nicer than Roses, but I don't buy Nestle so have to make do with the rare occasions they are bought for me.

Couldn't think of presents for dh, so whenever anybody asked me, I told them he loves Lindor.....Which he does but we have 5 boxes of it and I LOVE it too.

Am not stepping on scales, and never did lose that last half stone, I swore I would lose when I stopped feeding......ooops. Think I am meant to be a nice round shape for a few more years.

I prefer Roses to quality street...but green and blacks cherry chocolate is so good it should be illegal...

that and a gin and tonic and a pack of cards spell out a good night in.

chrimbo was fab, in the end, but I found it very hard to relax, with dd about...I was quite overwhelmed by everything actually.

we are having a quieter new year, just one of my sisters and her hub to be, so dd can go to bed early and I will pull out the green and blacks..

ive put on more weight too, but I feel really dizzy if I try and go a few hours without munching something...and the weaning has become insane as dd is now drinking more breastmilk than she ever did before I fed her food too???

I cant stop her! I dont know what to do next really, but her weight is fine, my MIL is a MW so she weighed her on boxing day, 15lb5oz she was 7lb15oz at birth, she is exactly 6mths old + a few days,,,

I am going to google a mother&toddler group to start taking her to, I want her to see more children...

mmmmmmmm, my friend got me and dp a chocolate melting thing, (is it like a fondu thing,??) i cannot remeber what it is called and im not getting up to go see ,, and some green and black choc to melt in it..... i ment to get some marshmallows to dip in asda today and forgot. i know maybe i should get some type of fruit but marshmallows and runny choc..mmm

i have been looking at mother and toddlers too, theres a tumble tots near us so may go there (well the baby equiv but cant remeber what thats called either! and i've not even been drinkin!!) i was waiting till i knew what days i was going to be doing at work to decide where to go. so maybe i will start soon. i never did anything like that with ds1 and kind of wish i did, so will make the effort this time.

As for chocolate fountains, strawberries pineapple and grapes are great, and hey presto 3 of your 5 a day.

My dd goes to local mother and toddler group. Your HV's should know of local groups in your area.

Have been indulging myself in the vino rather a lot . Got a box of wine thinking 'that'll do me for ages', then found myself trying to get the dregs out last night while watching a naked Will Young on tv !!! Then dd woke up at 2am complaining about teeth, AGAIN!!!
I finally got around to installing Google Earth on computer, that is sooooooo addictive!! As soon as dd can talk, she'll be phoning social services !!
Just going out in the appalling weather to walk the dog now. I may be some time......

ds2 has a cold again, i cant believ how much snot a 6 months old can produce!! he sneezez and it looks like 2 slugs sliding down his face!! it's so gross. poor baby.

maybe he will slepp lots tonight if i fill him up with calpol, i tried that medised stuff advertised on tv but didnt seem to work so i'll stick to giving him the good old calpol.

Google Earth is free downloadable globe of aerial images. You can go looking for places anywhere in the world!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun. And it's educational!!!!
Do Google search for it, and download it if you can. Hours of fun!

I adore googling the posh peoples areas...and seeing things like the eiffel tower and New York from above, I will look at egypt next for the pyramids...

dh always looks at south africa to see the house he grew up in in Johannesburg, he is astonished how many new roads there are there already.

the pictures are from about 18mths ago from what we can see, dont know how much they are updated, and my mum and dads new house in Onich isnt even covered by the satellite.
