**OUCH! BITTEN NIPPS THAT SWELL UP?***

Good lordie, dd had a cold which got her so frustrated as she couldnt breathe to feed that she chomped on my poor nipp, which has now swelled up into a weird white bump/blister thing and is agony to feed from.

She did it a few weeks ago to the same one, and a blood blister appeared at the tip, which disappeared after a few days of very very careful feeds.

But when I feed her she gets distracted by the slightest noise, eg me sneezing, dh coughing on other side of room, and whips her head round while still attatched. Apart from feeding her in a soundproofed box how the heck do I stop her?

She also tugs very hard on the left one, but is an angel on the right?

Any ideas?????????????
ps she is 4.5mths and I am stopping bf at xmas probably...if I can put up with this pain till then!

i like nigella also, i was debating wether to cook the ham in cherrycoke tomorrow but then i thought it may not last till next week, we'll all eat it and then i'll have to do another one.... so i think i'll leave it a few more days.
its my dads birthday on the 22nd so ds1 and i will cook him the custard birthday cake, its lovely, the 3 of us ate the whole cake in one day a few months ago [felt sick face]and the malteser cake...[licking lips face]

i've discovered that expressing in the evening is giving me abit more milk, so that will save time in the mornings when i go back to work, my top shelf in the freezer is getting quite full now! i tried to give him some jars this week and he wouldnt eat any of it, he clamped his mouth shut, so tonight i had to cook some potato and ved specially for him. ds1 and i had pizza we should have healthyeating every night too but its saturday so strictly dancing and the sfactor was watched with piza instead

god i run on some when i get on here dont i!!!!

well, i left ds2 at nursey for half an hour this morning, he didnt even cry... traitor!!
he didnt mind me going and just looked at me when i got back, he seemed to be having fun playing underneath their baby gym and laying next to another littlun, gurgling away to each other. infact he grumbled when i put his snowsuit on ready to go. at least my other son had half an hour with me , lthough he said he would have preffered it not to have been at the hospital!!.

i brought out xmas dinner today. as its only the 3 of us (maybe ds2 will eat a little?) i just got on of theose ready prepared/ready to roast things from M&S, i has stuffing and bacon on top and was£4.99 so it should just do us. mmmmmm i cant wait now, ilove xmas dinner.

we did xmas shop today, glad I had mum with me to help...so many yummy things....[fdrool]

dd started eating bits of banana and these little organic rice cake thingies...

gotta go help my mum cook a honey-glazed ham....YUM-TASTIC

ds2 had some banana today, i tried him on it a few weeks ago and he dribbled it back out, but when it was lumps of it today he ate it. and he had some pureed baked beans with his tea tonight and he ate the lot.

this child is starting to eat anything...

pureed baked beans is a great idea....dd loved grated hard cheese and chased a tomato round and round her high chair today!

she is in a brill routine at the mo, bed at 7, feed when I come to bed, then sleeps through till 7 and I feed again, then she sleeps again till 9.30am. dream child!

hello everyone, hows it all going?

i have only brought dp some small things, a duckfader bath toy
a mirror for in the shower, with a radio on, some mens smellies, a new gym bag and a jumper. he wants a car but as we've just had to trade in both our cars for one bigger car he will have towait till im back at work. and then he will want something ridiculus like a sporty thing, instyead of being normal and having a family suitable car !!! men....

he keeps telling me he is going to get me a laptop, (as he wants one!!) i just trying to ignore him. i know he got me some Lush stuff as he went to hand it to me to add to the hidden xmas pressies under the stairs. so i sulked cause i had already seen my present and wont get any surpeises on xmas day.!! i have been dropping hints for ages, such as oh look theres a new damien rice album, but he doesnt seem to notice. men.....

dd now has 6 teeth. Trying her with water from a cup now. Enough is enough!

i wish ds2 had a good routine, he still wakes 3-4 times a night. last night i dreamt that i was late for work and couldnt get there as i had so much to do.
i just got that baby whisperer book and trying to read it to figure out what to do. ds1 was 9 months when i went back and then did 5 hours in the eve so had no problems then..
i am going to have to be super organised when i go back. not loking forward to it, but in a way i am.. sort of..

i tried some cooled water from a bottle , it didnt go down to well, but it gave him something to do when we out for xmas dinner.

my brother went away on holiday for 4 weeks yesterday, lucky buger, so we had an early xmas dinner. ds2 enjoyed his food though

got my dh s xmas do tomorrow night...feeling tired and drained again though, I dont want to be ill again FGS!

oh dont tell me, santa never gets sad either...

its my dps xmas do tonight, im not going though, they are going to a warners holiday thing and get the xmas meal, entertainment and a hotel room with b&b for £35. (my dp used to work there so they gave them all discount) i would have loved to have gone but bf etc etc. my dps not staying though so he will be coming home. (its only 5 miles away but they dont drink and drive then)

i hadnt been to a xmas dinner dance for years and last year when we had a babysitter all sorted , and i was looking forward to having lots to drink and lots of fun, i found out i was pregnant and still ate all the food i just couldnt get drunk

oh well. maybe next year.

i just got 3 new bf bras from boots. they are in the sale baby section, emmajane ones, and for some reason they are £1.50 reduced from £2. it must be some type of error somewhere but i got them while i can. i only have 2 so its kinda wear one wash one, but now oh la la new bras!!!
i also ordered an electric breast pump as im crap with my hand pump and the new one got top marks so i will give it a try.

Got a manual pump, but don't use it often.
Can't get time to express often.
Am now trying dd on fruit juice. Teeth are hurting me now!
