For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY

(if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion)

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY

(can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more)

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being.

Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

I think we should all do exactly what franny says.

I think that would be for the best.

Let us have no more talk of "science" or "facts" as you call them.

Have I gone too far?

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2006 20:59

yes, yes, at last a disciple who truly understands me

you may mock, but it can hardly be shockingly controversial news to you that a seed is not a vegetable ffs

I was just giving you the opportunity to display your great knowlege, oh wise one.

Like Socrates.

Avoid that hemlock though, even if it is a fruit

Ah, velcro baby calls.

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2006 21:17

Look I have had 4 and a half happy weeks as the unchallenged leader of this cult, don't think you can come in here with your fancy book learning and make a fool out of me, Missy

waving your pulses around like some bushy haired dissident

  • ah yes, how is your hair, Filly? I've been meaning to ask...

What about popcorn? Sweetcorn is a vegetable, isn't it?

Just wondering ...

Pan1 · 08/09/2006 22:45

I'm sure there is a "bitch fight" board you can go on?.

But NO naked mud-wrestling, please. We do have standards, as low as they are......

Pan1 · 09/09/2006 09:01

oh yes! Fruit and veg. and gentle sexual banter..those were the days!Someone seems to have scared off the beautiful and sensitive papillon, and aviatrix sems to have gone the way of the aviatrix.

In the lovely late summer sunshine I will be clearing a space in the garden, in orde to be able to establish a......Vegetable Garden!! So there's my 4 hours of exercise....

And have one on the board with another BJ.....
ahem. blender job, silly.

Charleesunnysunsun · 09/09/2006 09:35

Morning! Rather slack today i didn't get up untill 8.30! But i have had my morning peach and a glass of cranberry juice.

No doubt DP will drang us out somewhere today so i will defantly be walking alot!

Franny i have emailed you back about the books.

I notice there is some sort of take over on the go! shocking Franny has lead us with the upmost skill i mean who else would allow such filth to be posted everyday

But really if there's gonna be a bitch fight let me crack my outfit out can be the lady who strolls across the ring with the round nuber on a board looking gormless!

Pan1 · 09/09/2006 09:45

Oh Charleeeeee you hit the spot every time! I Will be the MC in the tux, who intros the fighters, and heavily exaggerates the last syllable og their names.......and of course I'll have to give them both a good rub down in case they have any concealed weapons. {wink}. It's a dirty job.....

FillyjonktheFluffy · 09/09/2006 10:25

I have been pondering this matter all night.

I have realised that I am young and foolish and I have much to learn.

Franny is very very wise and also, she is RL friends with god.

How could a mere chemistry undergraduate possibly compete?

The rules are clear. Some things are fruit, some things are vegetables.

Now it is utterly beyond me why seeds should not be counted but peas are. But perhaps that is part of the challenge. To ponder, if you will, on the essentially unknowable. As a wise man once said, ours is not to reason why.

The End

I thank you

FillyjonktheFluffy · 09/09/2006 10:27

Filly, I knew you would come to accept the wisdom of the cult guru. Just let yourself go, give up the irksome responsibility of thinking for yourself, and submit to the will of your Leader. I will make all the rules, while you lie safe, warm and innocent in my virtual bosom
