For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY

(if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion)

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY

(can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more)

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being.

I am the worst for lurking on here

Ds has a long sleep, and I pop in and out the rest of the day. Ds has a toy computer on which he taps away and then says "I'm just emailing [harpsichordcarrier's real name]"

Good morning - I awoke feeling like I need a detox then saw this thread. Have just begun adjusting the kids diet as I feel they have developed a kapha (damp) constitution.

I just ate porridge with apple and now a plum - suppose I should not have had the milk though if thinking of detox...? Rice milk (which I have in fridge) I noticed was listed a damp food.

Morning Papillon and Malory

sorry Papillon, I don't know anything about detoxing, but have found I feel quite healthy and energised following this plan

Malory, yes, I did think about the water thing but I already drink litres and wee like a hoss

but the rest of you can do what you please
