Back from Cyprus and hoping you are all doing OK.

It was very, very nice but, for my money, a place where it is so hot that the glue in your book melts so all the pages fall out, is actually a bit TOO warm . Dd now has four new penfriends - one English, one Canadian, and two Russian, with only slightly more English than I have Russian (I know 4 Russian words, apart from the names of vodkas, obviously). Not sure how this is going to work

Dd sang karaoke in a bar (this makes me proud as punch but I know I'll get the cat's bum mouth from some quarters ). So her first ever 'wages' were a free cocktail, with sparklers and half a ton of fruit (it had no alcohol in it, I'm not THAT bad ) Twas Adele, 'Someone like you', if anyone's bothered

I certainly can't top Topsy's post holiday black eye - we are all in tip top shape, and more than a bit brown

Hi MAS!!!!! The wedding was really very lovely but the bride wore the full meringue dress, she must have been sweltering!!!! Then one of our friends stripped off and went for a cool off in the sea, one of the party nicked and hid his clothes, his wife found them, tried to help him out of the sea, tripped and managed to empty his wallet, iphone and safe key into the sea He's not v pleased

Oh love a bit of villa holiday porn. I have been searching for a villa/apartment for next June but we won't be heading to anywhere exotic. Probably one of the golf resorts in Murcia as DH and boys can play golf and DD and I can veg relax by the pool.

Well I spent yet another 4.5 hours at hospital today having my lovely picc line unblocked again. Bored or what. It was standing room only when I arrived and all the coffee and tea had run out. They are now talking about inserting a port for my herceptin . Oh and just to add to things, we came home and DH fell down the step at the back and has wrecked his arm. He won't go to casualty tonight but he is in agony and is sitting with a bag of peas on it. Honestly, I could really do with a break (obviously not in his arm).
