I'm a female hammer thrower Sad. Definitely think a diet is in order.

Hope your stupid neighbours behave. My mum has the most awful neighbours. She has had to spend thousands to have her driveway extended as they kept blocking her in/out. They move their 4 cars about so that mum has a hard time getting into her drive.

NedSchneebly · 31/07/2012 16:56

I am a female judo fighter. . .

Just back from surgery - got different antibiotic cream and told to get on with it. Nurse said "oh, it's not as bad as I was expecting it to be. . .!" Hmm ok, I'll be off then. . .

You do have bonkers neighbours kurri! Perhaps we need another covert raid to take out the important engine bits that make it run?

KurriotsOfFire · 31/07/2012 17:12

Yes - another covert raid, we could remove the ..um.. whirly round cog thingy, that would scupper them Grin

Hope the anti biotic cream works Hmm at 'nice' nurse.

gracie - your mum has my utmost sympathy, - I would put up with my neighbours car nonsense though if they were in any way pleasant, but they specialise in filthy looks over the garden fence. No idea why, we haven't done anything as far as I know.

Gigondas · 31/07/2012 17:16

Nurses don't you love em sometimes but glad you had it checked out Smile ned

Picc line out now , no fever today (16 hours and counting) but not allowed out as doing antibios til thursday then picc line in and chemo. They must think I am hard as nails Hmm .so provisionally out on Sunday (still haven't beaten some of the other record infection stays -think topsyholds current record)

I am a japanese boxer ...

Yes I think we need that raid back on your neighbours - wasn't topsy pig dog involved in last one? As I am about to do some more chemo , I propose gracie and I could out some of our steroids on your neighbours.

Now my square eyes back on the Olympics

Talking of nasty neighbours I have told
You my celeb neighbour story?

OP posts:
KurriotsOfFire · 31/07/2012 17:22

No - tell the story Gig

Gigondas · 31/07/2012 17:31

Has now moved out but reminded of it today when Zara phillips interviewed as her voice sounded pretty normal compared to no7 modelling ashes to ashes type I speak of ( clue enough?).

We had no clue who she was as I think she thought would know her ( clue - she came round and said hello I am x to which my dh said hello I am dhGrin).

Anyway we had some not very good and quite rough decorators in. Unbeknownst to us they recognised this woman in street and started yelling at her. No idea what was said but we did apologise and tell them not to. This started a saga of her then moaning about any work men we had.

She moved onto complaining about our hall light being on (normal light - we have a side window that looks over our passage to their side window). Apparently us putting on said light was intrusive , woke her baby (Hmm) etc . Use of light was coming in on winter nights at 7 or occasionally dss doing teenage thing and leaving light on (I cannot wait til her kids are that age).

She moved out.. New neighbours lovelyalthough we don't want any baby guinea pigs and don't mention it to big gig while I am away as she will have persuaded dh as is after a pet.

Oh and ref to voice is that has taken elocution lessons to a level that I have not heard incl people who went to public school and Oxbridge

KurriotsOfFire · 31/07/2012 18:13

Ha - I know who you mean Gig, - she sounds a pain Grin

smee · 31/07/2012 18:34

Apparently I'm a Venezualan male cyclist..! Still, at least I've got great legs. Grin

I have no clue who you're on about Gig, but she sounds ridiculous.

Kurri, your lot are clearly bonkers. Must be costing them a fortune apart from the pollution.

Ned, nurses are ridiculous. I had one say that to me and give me wrong dressings. Went back next day in tears virtually, with clothes sticking to me as the burns were weeping, and the new nurse was horrified.

Back from lovely afternoon in nearly empty Kensington Gardens. London is like a ghost town. Really odd, but rather lovely. Smile

Gigondas · 31/07/2012 18:52

Think of programme ashes to ashes smee.

It is odd as dh said same about London. We are even going to brave bringing the little gigs to visit me tomorrow Grin

I can't catch up with you all ! But did notice that Ned was feeling tired and strange - absolutely normal to feel like this after treatment is over - I felt wretched - and horribly blackened and peely. Dressings will help a lot.
Had nice day buying beer for dh and my dad at v lovely brewery in the middle of fields- lunch there and then to Snape.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2012 18:59

Keeley Hawes !!!

smee · 31/07/2012 19:11

Ooh yes, well done MAS. Isn't she married to that slightly marmite type man? Can't remember his name, but am always baffled that he's a sex symbol.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2012 19:53

Matthew something ?

Gigondas · 31/07/2012 20:02

yep mas - he was quiet and friendly . Took a while to twig who was as kept changing appearance. Was particularly odd looking til we saw him in tv on something about a paedophile coming out of jail which explained his appearance .

Hey topsy - is your picc line hole but sore or itchy? Mine felt like that (now calming down) when picc in and for while after took it out.

Bored and in absence of proper info trying to work out if hole is actually infected .

OP posts:
SweetestThing · 31/07/2012 20:22

Matthew McFadden, I think? I like KH in Ashes to Ashes but not impressed by your experience with her, Gig.

Watching women's football - great to see a big crowd watching!

topsyturner · 31/07/2012 20:26

No Gigs , my hole is just fine thanks Wink Grin
I was so happy and relaxed when the nurse removed mine that it just slid out .
Didn't bleed or anything .

As for your lovely neighbour , I used to be a fan but not now I have heard your story!
Off to google her hubby now ...

topsyturner · 31/07/2012 20:27

Aaah posh bloke , used to be in Spooks didn't he ?

Gigondas · 31/07/2012 20:48

Yes was fine when came out - very easy but was always bit sore and red and latterly itchy hence why think issue of infection.

Back to swimming ogling- the south African medal winner was promising til I saw his dad.

SweetestThing · 31/07/2012 21:46
