It is soooooo cold tonight. I have t-shirt, jumper and I'm wrapped in my blanket and still freezing, where is the summer?

Nope I am here but loping on sofa - very tired so haven't even energy to mumsnet .

Am also slouching on sofa wrapped in my fleecy blanket. DH has taken dog for walk. I really need to paint my nails for tomorrow but can't be bothered. Has the nausea gone gigs?

Think little and often is the way to go gigs. I seem to have lost my appetite but I have plenty of fat reserves

My choice would be chicken but that is just personal choice and I would fry the bacon first. Polish is Nails Inc. I think it is Shoreditch - will check when I summon some energy to go up stairs.

Why do I get more energy at bed time ?

I buy a lot of Nails Inc Gracie , they have a great colour range .

Now all I need is someone with some bread making skills to knock me up a nice crusty loaf for my soup .

I have a loaf threatening to go mouldy in the bread bin, Topsy. It's next to a packet of crumpets which have lost their squish. Really must do some shopping...

Need to do my nails. Had the aches last night (apparently this is a good sign as shows blood being regenerated in bones) but annoying at night.

Soup sounds nice (and get yourself a bread machine) but I would be wary about return of ring of fire with lentil soup.

We're making homemade burgers tonight, with salad, which will go down pretty badly with dd (the salad, not the burgers). I happily eat salad every single day of my life: dd does not take after me.

Smee - am glad the nurses are hopeful and positive about the baby.

Gracie - have a lovely time at the wedding. I did see the accessories and they are extremely nice.

Thanks for thinking of my friends and their baby. There was some good news yesterday as the baby will definitely live. Still no news on brain damage though.

Me too Sometimes , I rarely meet a salad I don't like !
Infact we are off out for lunch on Sunday (posh hotel , FIL treat for MIL birthday . Will be about 25 of us !) and they have a huge buffet for the starters .
I could live forever at the starter buffet !

Soup has been semi blended , fat from bacon skimmed off , put back on the hob to thicken .
If someone would like to pop by with a crusty loaf about 12.30ish , I shall serve lunch

Lunch out sounds fab - and the lentil soup is sounding better and better as well. Not sure what's up, maybe it's the cold weather, but I have been starving for about the last 4 days.

That is good news indeed about the baby. How do they find out about brain damage with a tiny baby? I guess some kinds would be pretty obvious, but others might not be identified for quite some time, I'm guessing
